I really like the template idea. If followed it produces a good, finished product. Overtime and thru repeated use the material used for the template becomes un-useable due to the holes becoming enlarged and out of alignment. A stronger material would certainly make the template useful, longer and therefore more valuable to the consumer. As it stands now, the cost of the template is not reflected in the longevity of the template. Not exactly a bargain if you sell the boards to make a profit.

This is an absolutely perfect cribbage board guide to make your own cribbage board for DIY woodcrafters. My husband and his mother play cribbage often and he wants to make her a Mother’s Day gift Cribbage board. The acrylic template is a good thickness and it should work perfectly for his set up. I will post a finished product picture so you can see how it works. Of course this depends on the skill set of the crafter and not necessarily this guide. For $16.99, this is a great tool to have in your shop, especially if you are a woodcrafter and like to make gifts for people.

This is a very nice acrylic cribbage board template. The cribbage board template can be used to make a two person board or a three person board. I like that choice, because I was thinking of making them as gifts for Christmas. I also like how thick the template it. It doesn't bend or flex at all and will be easy to use, except for drilling all the holes, of course.I was thinking of making a cribbage board and marking all the holes on a board to then cut them out without the use of a template. I was just going to drill where all the dots were on my board. I'm sure it would not have been perfectly aligned and probably not look so sweet. This template makes all the holes perfectly aligned. This was a great find!
