This looks good and is very sturdy(The base is metal and the top is clear plastic).I use it to keep track of computer passwords.I'll probably use it to keep track of credit card info as well.The point being it's a great organizer.One thing I would've liked is more than one plastic divider.I can find them online to buy,but too expensive.

I like this box for my 3x5 recipe cards. However, I purchased dividers separately since the ones included did not work for me. This is just the right size for for my cupboard, the opening works great, and it holds a lifetime of recipe cards. Good pur hase!

I use this for client record cards. It’s very sturdy and well made. The size is perfect and there’s plenty of room for lots of 3x5 cards. There’s even a bumper to keep them straight when it’s not full. The color is super cute too!

My open top ROLODEX from the late nineties finally in broke. This Acrimet model fit my needs for a good solid replacement with a covered top. Simple, Sturdy, meant to be stationary as no design features to easily pick up and move around. In addition the front looks like the back. I had to label mine, ' front', 'back' , for easy access (sits in the middle of a shared desk, fyi)

I had been using a small Rolodex for the millions of passwords we all need these days. It was getting old and falling apart. This case works perfect! It is larger, uses sturdy index cards (you need to buy your own) but does come with alphabetized dividers. Very pleased with the purchase.I don't like Password books or saving them on my phone especially since you have to change them constantly. With the larger index cards (3 x 5) you have plenty of room to add or changed new information

I purchased this unit to store 3x4 scrapbooking cards (Project Life) in my craft room. The colour is a light teal, which works very well with my white and teal storage and accessories. I really like the heavy duty metal and space to store a lot of paper. I am very happy with my purchase and will be ordering more for photo and paper storage.

This file came very nicely packaged from the manufacturer in an attractive box with thin styrofoam all around, then inside another amazon box. It's mostly metal and seems to be very well made. The green color is pleasing with a slight aqua tint to it. The clear plastic hinged cover also seems sturdy. There are four little flat plastic feet on the bottom. It has a lot of capacity for 3x5" index cards, although I'm not sure it would hold 600 thick cards plus the alphabet dividers and still have enough space left for easily flipping through the cards. This is not for the rolodex type cards. The movable metal divider that supports the cards can be inserted into eight positions or left all the way to the back for a ninth, or removed if full. All those things are 5-star.What would be an improvement would be sturdier alphabet dividers. The ones I received are just thick paper, and I'm not sure how well they'll hold up with use. A few of the letters are combined (J/K, W/X, Y/Z) which is okay, and there's an extra at the back which we are also using. This file will be used for an organization and the cards will get regular, but not daily, use. For the price, I expected sturdier alphabet dividers, maybe plastic ones. Also the lid does not fasten closed, if that matters to you. The metal support divider comes out of the slots easily but also goes back in easily; it just sits in them and isn't fastened. The thin top edge of the front looks as if it might hurt the wrists but in use it does not. The file has a bulkier look and footprint than I would like, but it's only a little wider than the cards so that probably can't be helped. Overall, it's a good solution for our needs and has plenty of capacity. Btw, the index cards are not included, only the alphabet dividers. I ordered the amazon brand index cards.The photo shows about 180 thick 3x5" cards and the alphabet dividers in it, with plenty of space in front for easily flipping through the cards. My unused cards are stored flat behind the metal support divider which is a handy place for them. I see no reason this file box shouldn't last for years. I'm not deducting a star for the less than ideal paper alphabet dividers.

I was a little apprehensive about buying this online without being able to see it first, but I’m so glad I did! I wanted to replace 3 old metal card holders with one larger holder. I checked all the office supply stores but no one had what I was looking for. So when I found this, I took a chance. I’m so glad I did, because it’s great! It’s so sturdy and I can fit all of my cards in one box now. The lid closes easily and doesn’t crush the contents and yet you can see inside. I like that it’s adjustable, so your cards don’t slide down. I did replace the index cards that came with it with new ones that I like better. I highly recommend.
