  • Most 100% natural woods only have a noticeable smell when there is an unusually large amount of it. Individual cedar planks can produce a very limited smell unless some unnatural material is added.

  • Normal cedar sheet will inevitably oxidize with the air after long exposure to it.

I feel like I did a fair amount of research before I ordered these. Everyone “strong smelling…”Yeah, no. There is literally ZERO smell to these. I bought the refresh spray too. It smells great on them for like 10 mins.Don’t waste your money

I have ordered these a couple of years ago & wanted new replacements. I hang them in my closets & hang in my out of season clothing storage has to prevent moths. I trust their effectiveness & small wonderful.

I didn’t realize the cedar oil they added to these would sting my skin via direct contact. I had to wash almost immediately after pulling them out and then wear gloves when handling them. They smell great and don’t permeate the spaces I’ve tucked them into. I just wanted something I hoped would deter buggies. Not sure if they are or aren’t working, but no buggies in the spaces where I’ve tucked them (yet).No matter what brand you buy, don’t forget you can sand them a little to release some of the natural cedar scent when they seem scent less.
