Not crazy fan of the color combo but loving the grip the weight and the overall feel of the rod so it’s a perfect budget rod if that’s what ur looking for unfortunately acidentally ordered medium instead of medium heavy

So nice has a nice bit of flex for little baits. But it’s after 12 in the med backbone has lot of power!!

Packaging wasn’t all that bad could’ve used a little padding. Because they sent the rod in a plastic bag, and then put in a large cardboard box. Overall the condition is perfect but I can see how this rod could arrive with damage from lack of packaging.

After reading some reviews was a little sceptical, but after I paired this rod with a abu Garcia reel it performs very well has great feel and response. It catches fish bass and perch. Next season I intend to try this setup on pan fish.

It took us several attempts exactly one year ago to buy two of these. It was a mess. Finally, we got two in that weren't too badly damaged just a bent eye, ding on the rod and some damage to the foam part. We received a discount to keep it so we did. The rod feel good and sensitive. Caught a few decent fish wading and off a boat no issues. But here we are, one year later shopping for another rod because the black corrosion/braid proof inserts for the biggest loop came out. I'm sure it will last a long time, just not on our rod, somewhere in the flats we were walking through. I dunno how to word this properly, it is like I loved the rod, once we finally got them, but then they break after a year so what is the point of wasting the money on it. I called Abu Garcia etc and guess what? After a few exchanges of information through email over a week, I paid $9.99 to get a replacement. How cool is that? AND they shipped it in a practically indestructible tube packed with air cushion! Nice. So, I think if they offered a package upgrade for a couple bucks to guarantee safe delivery MOST of us would probably opt for that, because the alternative and hassle isn't worth it In my opinion. I am upping the score a bit because, our rods have been through a couple seasons now and holding up pretty well and definitely helped with sensing the bite.

Make sure you double check your rod when you receive it. I received a damaged rod, however Amazon as always, offered a fast replacement and the replacement rod was perfect.As for the rod, Abu Garcia makes some really nice rods. I'm very pleased with this lower-end offering. It's not the greatest rod but for the $43 price that I paid, it's one of the best rods for the money. Is it as good as a $100 rod? No, but for a below $50.00 rod, it is a 5 star product.

Came in broken then the second one came in ok, but broke on my first catch and it wasn't even a big fish. Now what do I do with a broken rod?! The rod is nice, light, and felt good in my hands until it broke 10mins into using it
