Contrary to the new & improved description section this tested still lacks the described “pressure release valve, fitted with long drain hose, allows for safe recovery of fuel”. Not that it matters much without the bleed feature but vendor also indicates tool comes with instructions and a different psi range gauge than what you get in the package.

My main dislike was how long it took the gauge to show any pressure when hooked up. It seems slow to react...maybe a bad batch... I really like that it came with the Schrader valve fitting for GM...no muss no fuss.

Just wanted to show how to make this kit work on fuel rails with a schrader valve. If you look at the hose and fitting connected to the actual fuel pressure gauge there is a a built in adjustable schrader valve on the end (refer to the picture). It ships to you turned completely down. If you take a tire valve remover and rotate the valve counter clock wise it will adjust the valve outward so that it can depress the valve on the fuel rail. These work perfect on GM and other schrader valve fuel rails once you have adjusted it out. Hope it helps.

I use this Gage on a Ford I suspected of having low fuel pressure and it did. The gauge work perfect and help me out and it did not cost a lot of money.

I bought this pressure gauge last December, and never chance to use it during the holiday. When I first try to use it, it does not work and already over 30 days period. All parts are still brand new in the case, and I found several issues with this unit. First the gauge, the needle is set at the right side of the needle stop post, so the needle cannot move with any pressure. Second issue is the hose fittings, and the needle at the center of the hose fitting is too short. I screw it all the way on the fuel pressure check valve, the pressure never released from the connection.

Initially the gauge read 0 pressure on my fuel line, because the Schrader valve stem at the end of the gauge hose was screwed all the way in and wouldn't reach the Schrader valve stem on the fuel rail of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I unscrewed the valve stem from the end of the gauge hose using needle nose pliers until it came off. Then I put in it back in just 2 or 3 full turns, and voila, it worked perfectly, 49 psi, the exact spec for the Jeep. While it does not have a fuel relief hose, a shop towel wrapped around the valve works just fine.Overall, a great value and the case is a huge bonus. Recommended!

Just right now use for fuel pressure test, it’s good.

Description said 145 psi gauge but it's only 100. The hose pieces supplied with it are complete garbage. I barely snugged the hose clamp and it started to cut the hose. The case looks good but make sure you know what you're getting.

Works great, the case is of good quality. The only down side is it says it has an extended relief hose, but mine doesn't. Not a deal breaker by any means. I am very happy.

This kit worked well for my purpose. The only down side was that the short pieces of fuel line the kit comes with are NOT fuel line. I used one of them to adapt the tee fitting to my inlet fuel line and it almost burst from the 45 psi my system put out. I noticed it was inflating like a balloon and shut down before I had fuel spraying out all over a hot motor. So if you get this kit, pick up some REAL fuel line at the parts store if you're going to do what I did. Otherwise the gauge and schrader valve fittings all were of good quality and am pleased with them. This was a pretty good value for the price.

Bought this for use with my cars. No problems with connections to my Saturn, Ford, Chevy, and Dodge applications. My brother however needed to test is Excursion which is diesel and he said the gauge is enough for the section of the system he needs to test but the fitting need is not provided.I am happy because I have not researched any info about his diesel and the gauge is perfect for what I bought it for.
