The vacuum chamber and pump came packaged very well. The pot is nice quality and the lid is heavy and all of the pictures are great quality. Assembly was a breeze and it is easy to operate. I wish there was a manual showing the valve positions and the max vacuum. The lid sealed great and I have not had a single failure getting a seal. The pump was easy to setup and came with a bottle of oil to get started. It was quiet to operate compared to my airbrush compressor which is about the same size. It would be nice to have an air diffuser on the inside so that it doesn't shoot a column of air straight down the middle of the pot when releasing the vacuum. Opening the valves to quickly could create a huge mess if you had a container of liquid in the middle of the pot.

Vacuums down fairly fast, works great for canning things you don't want to get hot or steam vacuum. Experimented with fermented vegetables. How long will it stop fermentation and hold a vacuum, seems like forever. At least I vacuum some fermented vegetables 2 weeks ago and it seems like everything stopped. Still a good vacuum on it no fermenting apparent

Of course the return windows on these things are very short and only got around to trying it for my project 2 days after I can't return it. This thing is completely useless, it doesn't seal at all so it can't pull a vacuum. The cheap steel pot rim is all warped and the rubber seal is very thin so I can see daylight in places around the lip. My project is stalled until I can get a new vacuum chamber. Amazon really needs to stop selling all this worthless garbage. I am literally paying money for stuff that goes in the trash because it doesn't work.

I ordered and then received my vacuum chamber in a very timely manner I also made sure to order the oil needed for the pump right after. Set up was very easy and fast. I use this chamber to create amazing epoxy molds using wood and whatever other creative ideas I can come up with.It's a great product, well adapted to what I need and does what it says. The chamber its self is solid and if good quality the lid is strong enough to handle the vacuum inside. I have several silicone molds to make all kinds of products I sell at events. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a great start into this area of hobby/work

It's really easy to assemble, it only took me about 5 minutes to get it all unboxed and filled up with compression oil. thankfully I purchased some as well because it needs it in order to run. there were no marks or scratches, aka it was in perfect condition and worked great. I highly recommend this product for its price and ease of use.

Well... it broke the first day; and I follow the instructions to take it apart to find the issue. All of the wires crumbled as I took it apart, and it looked like (for the resulting appearance) as if I ripped the thing apart. In reality, it over heated. This unit isn’t designed to run for more than 15 minutes in 2-3 hours. So- small short science demonstrations only. Since then, I have heavily modified the unit; so I can say definitively - other than over heating, the construction of the unit is VERY solid. After multiple tear downs and modifications, it still gets down to -29.99. If you want something that runs all the time - this is not your vacuum pump. If you want something starter level and for random experiments that is cheap and durable; this is the perfect use case. The bucket that comes with it is also very sturdy, and perfectly survived a full vacuum drop onto concrete.

*IMPORTANT: LID WILL CRACK/BREAK IF LEFT OVER 24 HOURS UNDER VACUUM. (see attached photo)This comes from their instruction manual and this warning should be included in the product description on Amazon but the company does not include this specific printed warning with the vacuum chamber.Instead, the only printed warning they include is "failure to center the lid may result in damage to chamber"It is not a bad product but that warning would save them time and money in terms of returns and complaints.Pros:*Almost an in one Solution; pump and vacuum chamber included.*I have been testing it for the last few days and it holds vacuum perfectly for the tested 6 hours.* Very affordable but not the cheapest.Cons:*You have to buy the oil (not included with the product thus breaking the "all in one solution/out of the box" premise)*Vacuum pump will produce more oil mist than the average pump and at first it looks like a malfunction.*The printed Instruction manual for the chamber IS NOT INCLUDED and you are required to scan a QR code to get their manual THEN their Facebook group. No, it's not a joke, that is how they setup that part of their business.I scan QR codes several times a week and I find it easy but it is doubtful every customer will know how to or will want to do those extra steps.The worst part is that this is not a bad product but failure to read the instructions may result in some people leaving the vacuum for over 24 hours thus cracking the lid.Think about it, a company is accidentally/intentionally hiding crucial instructions that would save them money.It's almost as if they sat down in a meeting and asked themselves:"is there a way we can lose money and create lots of returns and complaints? Yes! That is a great idea John, let's obfuscate the user's manual PDF with QR codes to maximize our chances of losing money. You are a great liability to this company John! "To top it off, the company is called Ablaze, the jokes truly write themselves.Note: After a series of extremely unprofessional delivery problems, I finally received this shipment without issue.Delivery problems originated from an unprofessional Amazon subcontractor unrelated to the product manufacturer.

I received this on time and with no damage. I inboxed it and read the limited instructions, followed them and, as promised, ended up with a nice 5-gallon vacuum chamber that works well so far. Everything looks and feels top in class with the possible exception of the two 1/4 turn valves on the cover. They work well after several tests and real uses, so we’ll see.Now, there are a couple items included in the kit that are not mentioned in the instructions and which are not intuitive for their purpose. The very nice mesh screen and a large sheet of tissue paper. I have no clue what they’re for or if they are simply very thoughtful accessories, the purpose of which may become clear with more experience on my part, or a set of critical tools which I failed to use and therefore...

This is a great vac chamber kit. It does not include oil but it’s not hard to find. Holds vacuum with no leaks. I use it for stabilizing wood for knife handles. Fast shipping and a top quality product.
