  • Heavy Duty Vacuum Pump: FAD: 5 CFM, Single Stage; Power: 1/3 HP; Ultimate Vacuum:5 pa; Oil Capacity: 250 ml. Our HVAC vacuum pump comprises heavy-duty aluminum alloy with durability and sturdiness. The strong copper motor provides continuous power, and a shock-proof base supports the stable operation. Complete power and control you can feel.
  • Stainless Steel Chamber: Capacity: 5 Gallon. Made of high-strength 304 stainless steel, this chamber is resistant to corrosion and chemical damage. The vacuum gauge is filled with silicone oil to handle pressures from 0 to −30 in Hg, thanks to the shockproof feature. Two silencers reduce the noise and make the pump run quieter, so you can focus on bringing your surfaces back to their prime.
  • Easy Monitoring & Cooling: With an oil viewing window, this AC vacuum pump can easily monitor oil levels to avoid oil deficiency. Our vacuum pump tool can cool itself and prevent itself from burning out. The built-in thermal protection prevents the machine from overheating, extending the machine's life.
  • High Sealing Transparent Lid:The chamber’s transparent window is convenient for detecting oil levels and preventing the motor from burning due to oil shortages. This high-quality chamber is perfect for degassing urethanes, silicone, epoxies, extracting essential oil, resin casting. Know your machine inside and out and feel the difference from competitors; power and efficiency you can see and feel.
  • Wide Application: The vacuum chamber with pump is an essential tool for automobile maintenance, vacuum packaging, and refrigerator cleanings. This does just what it's supposed to do. The short version is that It's large, inexpensive, and works. It works great whether you're degassing epoxy for resin pours, or just letting your kids watch what happens to marshmallows in a vacuum chamber!Assembling it is pretty easy, you just screw in the air manifold, and attach the hose with clamps. The instructions on adding the oil are a little weird, but if you just follow the procedure, you'll get there just fine. The pump is a little noisy, but really not bad considering the power behind it. Leakage is minimal, certainly not enough for me to notice without leaving it for extended time. The pump takes mine down to 0.15-0.2 BAR, depending on what I've got inside of it, temperature, etc.. It also works quite quickly, and gets down to that level in around half a minute.

Well I bought this to degass resin. And I pulled it out of the box two simple connections and tested the pot to make sure it would seal to get a good vacuum and I've had it sitting for about 10 minutes and it hasn't lost its seal pumps quiet so far so good. If I have problems down the road I will update but as far as I can see right now it's a good value for the money and I don't know why but mine actually came with enough vacuum pump oil to fill it. I'm not saying every one of them does but at least mine did

I had a minor gauge issue at first. The VEVOR addressed the issue and promptly sent a replacement part. I am pleased with the vacuum system and the customer service.

Though I ordered a 1/2 HP pump, but it is in reality 1/3 HP. Seems to work.

The Unit came with a teeny tiny amount of oil in it.It worked to degass my freshly mixed silicone the first time. The second time, it would not pull a good vacuum. So I figured I needed to add Vacuum Pulp Oil which I went and bought for $10 at my local Auto Parts Store. Tried it again with the Vacuum Pump Oil full and it's a whole nother animal. You could probably implode a gasoline tanker with this thing.went clear to the to the maximum vacuum on the gauge.I'm going to venture to guess that the manufacturer puts only a tiny amount of oil in for at least 2 reasons:#1: The first time I used the vacuum pump it worked and did not produce any noticeable oil vapor/smoke. After I filled the oil reservoir to capacity, it works even much better, but creates a little oil vapor/smoke. I think the manufacturer wanted to make sure that people who don't know that an "oil seal type vacuum pump" makes a little smoke and vapor during operation wouldn't freak out the first time they used the vacuum pump and saw a little smoke.#2: It makes it possible to keep the overall cost of purchasing the system lower. So basically they put the minimum amount of oil in for it to function once without damaging anything and without making much noticeable smoke. But You will want to add about 6 ounces to both the blue oil full cap and the red oil fill cap, until the front indicator window shows oil level at maximum. It will smoke a little, vapor actually I think, but it is a symptom of what is needed to create a seal capable of preventing air molecules from passing even while spinning the vanes in the pump. Just put the pump near a fan out it outside. While I'm at it, I once read about a pretty nifty vacuum pumping technology called Titanium Sublimation Pump. Inside the chamber is a filament of titanium. Pulses of very high electrical power are sent to the filament which then causes high energy titanium particles to be rejected and stick to the inside wall of the chamber. If these titanium ions pass near any air molecules or gas molecules, they become connected and are pinned to the inside e wall of the chamber. Any titanium that becomes deposited on the inside chamber wall that has not already picked up a gas molecules remains in a highly attractive ionic condition so if any other gas molecules happen to come near it, it will pull them into attachment with the inside chamber wall also, this creating a vacuum by pinning the gas molecules in the chamber to the inside wall of the chamber. Just remember to shield your workpiece from the high energy titanium that will coat all surfaces directly adjacent to the pulsed filament...and youll need to rough the chamber down first with an automobile supercharger first, the TSP is just for removing the last little bit of gas molecules from the chamber to achieve an extremely high vacuum!

The vacuum pump worked like a charm, quick and quiet! Although I am satisfied with the pump itself, the pump did not come with oil, which is difficult to find local, and the seal gave out immediately! When the seal failed it destroyed the seal completely along with the metal 4 way fittings! If your hand is near it when it fails, I was lucky, it will easily break your hand, it easily snapped metal in two!
