Easy install with these racks. Wasn’t sure if they would fit my 2023 Toyota Tacoma short bed from the description and reviews but they fit perfectly. They come with standard C clamps and you’ll want to order in addition their cap clamps that will work with the Tacoma utility rails. Nice and sturdy racks and feel like good quality. The top rail portions had a few small dents from shipping but not a big deal and can barely see. They were packaged with just plastic sleeves and maybe some bubble wrap/padding would protect those while shipping. Would highly recommend if you want some quality racks for the best price over the big names.

Took less than an hour to put together, and the feel and look high quality. I have high end Yakima racks on my SUV and I like these better for a truck. Super sturdy and they look and feel substantial.I chose the longer bars since I have an old truck with a full size bed. I probably could've gone shorter, because the bars are adjustable (you can attach items to them) up until the end of the bars.Mine sits in the truck bed with a 150 lb tent on it. Other than seeing it back there, it would be hard to tell it's there. No movement, rattles, shaking, or noise at highway speed.

Overall works good for my use of hauling a Thule box full of skis. Compared to what the big guys charge for a similar product it is a good value but I don't know how they justify the prices for a pretty basic item. Anyway... I would put this in a 5 star especially for the price but the knocks I have are pretty big. Here are the goods and bads.Goods:As stated above, good price for what you get compared to other big name products.Easy to assemble.Seems reasonably good qualityBads:The clamps are cut from plate material instead of cast which is not a biggie as they seem strong enough but I did spend about 30 minutes with a file getting the rough burs and edges off of them. Not sure if they product test this very much. Biggest issue is the length of the plate that sits on the bed rail is to short. Even with flexibility of placement with the Thule box adjustable clamps I fought this around the bed ribs where I needed to place it. I ended up having to shift it forward which means the box was rubbing the back window a bit and also grind part of the clamps away to allow it to get enough bite on the plate. If they would just add 1" each side (or 2" total length) to each of those plates it would take care of that. I drive an F-150 so not like its a weird bed layout. exact opposite as it is the most common.Minor but other reviews noted the finish coming off. After 1 trip I have some issues at edges but it does not bother me. Not sure why they finish it at all unless the extrusion is not quality enough to leave as a clear finish?Country of origin - Manufactured in ChinaOverall - I would recommend it but if the manufacturer is paying attention here, give us a bit longer plate on the bed and watch QC on the clamps before sending.

Purchased this rack for putting a rooftop tent on my 03 Tacoma step side (overland build). Since my truck has an odd-ball size (non-standard width due to the step side), I had to use a universal rack. This one wasn't crazy expensive, was pretty sturdy, and could fit multiple sized beds.Setup was fairly easy. There were good instructions. It uses a clamp based system that works well. My only thought is that the metal pads for the supports are big, so for my smaller truck, there is some overlap. I am sure they were gearing this more for mid to full-size trucks, but it does work on mine ok as well. There is just some overlap, and I centered them as best as I could. If you are looking to put something like a RTT on it, you may need longer bolts. My tent (Tuff-Stuff Ranger) came with 2" connecting bolts, and I could get them to work, but barely...it scared me enough to go buy 2.5" galvanized bolts to have extra threads to work with. Also, the bottom plate that helps hold the tent on had to be longer. This is due to the spreader bars being pretty thick and wide, so some rack & tent installs may be a bit tricky. It ended up costing me about $20 in parts for my tent, and most box stores (or Amazon) have the extra parts. I like the fact that the bars are a bit bigger/sturdier, as the static load for this rack is 800 lbs (many are not as high). Just the tent alone is almost 140 lbs, and then you put a few hundred pounds extra of people, and other items as well, and it adds up quick. It's a beefy rack, and I don't think there should be any issues with load. Also, it was just high enough that it didn't block my rear view...I can see some of it, but not enough that I cannot tell who is behind me, or block me in seeing as I back up. It does leave the tent up in the wind stream some, so will have to do some fairing work with that.Quality control is good - powder coat was done well, no major scratches. It got banged up a bit from shipping, but nothing that to me was returnable. The other nice thing is that if my truck dies and I get a new one, I can most likely just move it to whatever new truck I get. It also comes with load brackets that keep loads from shifting, good end caps, and weather stripping. It did not make any extra whistling or anything after it was installed. All in all, satisfied with this rack. Has not caused any issues, and seems to be holding up well.
