I got smooth and precise wood edge trimming with these flush trim router bits. Featuring updated C3 carbide tips and top-bearing design, they ensured clean cuts and long-lasting performance. With four different cut diameters included in the set, they gave me the versatility to tackle various projects with ease. Upgrade your router bit collection and achieve professional results every time.

At about $4 each it's hard to complain about the price. These work well enough for occasional use where the surface finish is not critical, like you're going to sand or scrape afterwards anyway.Note that there is not a lot of reason to have different diameter bits for template routing. One 3/8" diameter bit will cover almost all cases, unless you're using this for thin slots or tight interior corners or something. A larger diameter will have a higher edge-speed (surface feet per minute (SFM)) for a given rotational speed (hence more heat and tendency to burn the wood surface) and a smaller diameter will flex more and be more prone to chatter. So for me this is basically having four inexpensive bits that more or less do the same thing and I wouldn't cry much if one got dull or the bearing burned up.Anyway, at this price, a decent option if you're just getting started and want to try out a variety of sizes, or if you need something to sacrifice on an old-work job or something where there might be steel or grit embedded in the surface where you can't see it.

I purchased a similar set that cut very nicely, but this set seems to chop and grab. I feel the grind of the carbide is the wrong angle. Speeding up and slowing down the router did not improve the cut. I double checked the other set I purchased that is yellow and it was a much better experience and smoother cut at the same router speed settings. The shanks are not marked with a minimum insert depth like so many are now. They did laser their name so it would not have taken any more effort to add the depth mark on the shank above there name. I cannot recommend.

So far I used three of the sizes to cut a battery compartment into the back of my Fender Jazz V bass. I used the bits with a Ryobi 18 volt handheld trim router which is said to operate between 20000-30000 RPM. The bass’ body is either ash or alder which are considered hardwoods, but not as hard as a wood like oak. I had to cut a total depth of 1.25”. They cut fairly easily and smoothly, but I also made a point to take it slowly as this type of retrofitting is not forgiving. In hand they feel sharp, but I can’t comment of durability or ability to stay sharp over time. The price was right for me.
