Excellent exact fit for the years indicated with o-ring & rubber seals installed including two oil filters one installed & one spare oil filter. Great quality & must replacement. My mechanic highly recommended aluminum over plastic oil cooler.

The product is well made it was a perfect fit for my 2017 jeep wrangler. I didn't use the gaskets it came with so not sure on quality of them but they looked just like the ones I purchased separately. I highly recommend this oil cooler.

The new part fit perfectly, so far a couple hundred miles and no issues. The all aluminum oil cooler is a much better design choice listen up Chrysler.

I bought this filter for my Dodge caravan and found out that it's better than original. This pat is made of aluminum while the original one is made of plastic.

Replaced my leaking polymer unit (I had the #5 revision on my 6 spd 2 door Wrangler JK, original owner, less than 45k miles).Story time! I was consuming about 1.5 quarts every 7500 miles, and consuming coolant, albeit slowly. I had the intake layers off for other work, saw how horrific my problem actually was. OEM leaks filled the entire crown on top of the crankshaft with oil. It stank, it would occasionally spill over and run down one side of my bell housing, before I found out about the heat exchanger trouble from the figure 8 shaped upper seals among minor, yet problematic distortions near the support vanes in the polymer...Anyways, this unit was perfect. It's probably made with a recycled alloy, but that's fine. The heat exchanger comes pre installed on the oil canister housing, which is machined to spec tolerances under that. MAKE SURE YOU USE OEM TORQUE/BOLT STRETCH VALUES! One must proceed with caution when replacing a part with vastly different material base; I have seen plenty juniors just 'crank it down' with breaker bars and impact drives, then look wildly confused when they pull out 3" of fine threading from an aluminum block... All of the fasteners in this swap require values sensibly described in inch lb range. The ECT and OP sending units are pre installed, they are on the ball as far as scale and accuracy. I bench evaluate/prep the parts that come off, and new parts before they're installedThe fact that it came with a full 12 piece intake gasket set at this price was great. The smaller gaskets for block interface are pre installed, too.I have put about 300 miles on since the changeover, and everything absolutely spot on. Sensors are perfect, in testing against reference on the bench, less than ±0.2% deviation in either. Nothing leaks at all, I've had the bolt on engine hardware pulled off since then, everything is as it should have been from the factory.Little bonus, two paper filter cores are included. One is pre installed.Big plus, the entire unit is shipped in a fairly large box with cut foam. It's top tier shipping protection; someone could have dropped that box off a roof, and the unit wouldn't have a single ding. The oversized shipping protection here absolutely beats bubble bags and a part covered in little diggers (or big ones).I am skeptical of cheap parts, but I have a private engineering workshop, a long with the skills and tools, to evaluate mechanical and electronics parts down to minute tolerances, and as stated, I did take my time with this unit and it's interfacing, and it was done right. I didn't see any marred off branding stamps anywhere, but I suppose that's ok considering the factory tooling was done for polymer. It's common for someone to "steal", or sometimes it's out on a license, the tooling used in casting, and commonly, the tooling will contain a brand or logo or part code somewhere that must be removed before it's sold. It's normal practice. I am guessing these units have had their castings built without license from overseas because it came totally naked of information outside of some lasered spec info on the top of the heat exchanger leaf stack. My point is, it's very common to see parts that are actually OEM have tagging scrubbed and sold as aftermarket all the time. This unit, I really, really don't think FCA/MOPAR produces a metallic unit for this interchange. My mild concern of, 'is this thing cast-cloned?' is alleviated by the accuracy of the cast, but also and importantly, all of the interface facing. The threading cuts on every thread in this box are perfect, too; no crappy cast and go coarse threading on the filter cap, near sending units, anywhere. It's all done right. The TL;DR here; it's great, has accurate tooling at every facet and face, pre installed senders are dead perfect against reference on bench, there's a good amount of extras, which is great at this price point. As an experienced, multiple field engineer, I was skeptical for the price, but worst case, I could return it if something was off on bench evaluation... I'm still surprised that every single component included fell smack dab in the midrange of OEM specifications, I had to provide a review so anyone looking can feel better about a potential purchase.

I decided to go with this manufacturer over Dorman, since it’s also aluminum but didn’t wanted to pay $200-300. Main problem with the factory issue is that it’s plastic and over time it wears out causing leaks. The aluminum should last longer. Didn’t used the gaskets that came with this, instead ordered the FelPro set for $10. Not much for peace of mind. However the oil pressure sensor is not identical ( see pic ) to the one in the ‘15 dodge caravan.Make sure you check that before installing. I pulled the one from the old unit. Beside this it’s a great fit and been working well, no issues
