I needed this type of fastener to use on a canopy tent to hang items on display. The threads on these are smooth and easy to operate. Their strength is more than adequate for my use. I have not come anywhere near their working load limit.

I've been looking for some heavier duty links than the ones you see at the big box store that aren't really rated for more than a few hundred pounds. These are obviously meant for heavy weight use, and are big and beefy and look very well made. The threading is clean and free of burrs or defects, and they screw closed smoothly and evenly with no hitching or catching. Great product and I can highly recommend them.

These fit perfectly on my 2018 F150 trailer hitch for attaching safety chains. Without them, the hooks didn’t sit securely on the receiver. While the finish could be tougher, it’s not a deal breaker since they’re designed for work. Overall, a solid choice! A+
