Ok, it took a while to get these, not sure why, but they got here. I review a fair amount of hardware and seldom is there much to say aside from "good (or bad) finish" or "functions as expected". These I was REALLY happy about however. Aside from the usual good points of being well made and being very sturdy, and having a good finish, these have a difference from other quick links that I have been wanting literally for years. The gate is larger. The link is just a little bit longer so that the gate can open wide enough to not only accommodate chains of similar size, but basically wide enough to accommodate any diameter of material that will fit within the link itself. YAY.

The set of screw locking carabiners/chain links from the Sprookber Store are nicely made, with smooth screw locks, and no rough edges or flaws. Unfortunately what was supposed to be a set of four shrunk to a set of three somehow. The carabiners arrived in a plastic box, which was inside a padded envelope. The padded envelope was not damaged in any way, but the plastic box with the barcode and legend that said it contained 4 carabiners was damaged. So I'm guessing that the missing carabiner is somewhere on the factory floor, and the employee in shipping figured it wasn't his or her job to notice something like that. The bottom line is that a set of four 5-star carabiners become 2-stars when the set of four becomes a set of three.

I use these links for all kinds of outdoor fencing and hanging purposes. They're great for making simple gate latches on the the paddock fencing. I also use them along with eye bolts to hang all manner of large items from the rafters in the garage. I'm currently using these links to hang mountain bikes and long ladders in the garage.Stainless steel is strong and it doesn't rust in place like plain steel links. I have fence gates that I haven't opened in years but I know I'll be able to open them again without having to walk back to the barn to get a wrench.

On the bench today, I’ve got the sprookber Stainless Steel Chain Link Quick Links - 304 Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Chain Connector, Screw Locking Carabiner, Chain Hooks, Set of 4. (I got the ones listed as 3.2”)Just your standard stainless steel quick links. Not a lot to say about them. They give me no reason to think they won’t work just as good as any of the others of this size that I’ve used in the past. The link itself has a fairly strong magnetic attraction but the nut part has almost none so I don’t know if the main part is 304 stainless since its generally supposed to be only a slight magnetic property after certain manufacturing processes but the nut part is more than likely 304. Not to say that it isn’t still some form of stainless, I’m just not sure if it’s specifically 304.At the current price of $12 for 4, they aren’t a bad value at all and I’d definitely consider them in the future when I need more quick links in this thinner size.

I purchased a ceiling/wall mount bracket for attaching suspension and/or elastic exercise straps. The wall mount bracket was so beefy that an average or normal sized snap carabiner was too small to clip over the thick attachment cross bars. I didn't want to purchase huge carabiners that was overkill and look horrible. My easy solution was to get these stainless steel Chain Link Quick Links to attach to the mounting crossbars. Now all I have to do is use quick disconnect carabiners attached to the Quick Links. An unexpected benefit of going this direction is the ease of use, but more importantly the dual combo Links and Carabiners allow the exercise bands and straps to have additional twisting or movement abilities without binding. These Quick Links are BEEFY, easy to unscrew and securely 'rescrew' back together to form a SOLID chain for which to attach other clips, clamps, and carabiners.Solid made. Great material. Ease of use. Nice.

Sturdy, and reasonably made. The ring part is a bit narrow and the screw function could be better fitted, but it was functional. It will take time to verify if the metal holds up and doesn't rust, will update if it degrades.

Items showed up in a small plastic case so they were perfect to toss into the truck without worrying about loosing them. Nice smooth metal finish, smooth threads and the closure works quite well. For the size the gauge of the ring is a little smaller than what we normally use but so far haven't had any issues with strength of the links, all have held up well to use. Use them for connecting chain together, attaching trailer links and tie downs. So far have performed well during use.

Got this set of four stainless steel links to attach chain pieces together into various lengths or configurations. These are a nice size with a closure that is threaded on both sides of the 'C' making it very secure. (Cheaper versions of this often will only have thread on one side, allowing the locking mechanism to slide back and forth, so when it's closed it's only being held on that one end.) they came in a nice case which will make it easy to keep up with in my toolbox. Very happy with the use and can see several use cases for them right off the top of my head.
