This is junk. Cheaply made. The levers snap off on the first or second use. So far I’ve had 12 fail out of the 32 I installed.

The connectors are well made, and provide a secure connection with the wire.

These connectors looked to solve a TON of my wire project issues. The concept is fantastic but the levers seem to have this "hit or miss", when it comes to locking the wire in the hole. I stayed within the gauge wire the product claims to work well with, but how firm the locking mechanism is using solid or braided wire (cut short or long), is questionable.

I love these things. They are great for light electrical work with many connections. I use them to wire my entire train model. I run the power buss through these and take the outputs to switches (turnouts and crossovers) and lights and autoreverseers and frog juicers. This is way better than suitcase connectors. I loved the old lever nuts but you need 2 (1 each for red and black) but with this you only need 1. Awesome product

I love lever nuts for wiring! I threw away my old twist nuts. The lever nuts are quicker, and make changes a snap. I bought these because they handle both the hot and the neutral on the same connector. Its often neater and more compact. I still use the single circuit ones as well, but these are really nice.I also use these for speaker wires, low voltage lighting and thermostat/zone valve wiring. Trouble shooting these applications is soooo much easier when you can just disconnect a wire! Highly recommended.

The idea is good but not for home remodeling, the wire would come loose. I thought maybe it was a flawed splice but they all did the same. I was rewiring wall outlets in a room and ended up putting in new wire with another type of connector. If I were to use them in an accessible area then it may be alright, inside walls isn't a place for them. I have been in construction many years, from new home construction, remodeling, and commercial/residential maintenence.
