If you need wires spliced together in a small area where a wire nut wont fit very well, this is a great product. If you need to splice together wires of wildly different sizes, or a solid and a stranded, and don't want to fiddle with a wire nut, this is a great product. If you need to splice together multiple wires, the multi-position WAGO connector is even superior than a wire nut. "WAGOs" have proven themselves in many applications, and this latest model is the icing on the cake; all the quickness and simplicity of the normal WAGO connector and barely takes up more space than the two wires you're splicing.They are pricy though when compared to a traditional wire nut, so don't expect them to totally replace wire nuts.
