This was exactly what I needed to fix my Maytag Neptune Dryer! After making several calls to find these part's, and got told I would have to replace the motor just to get that metal piece, knowing my motor was fine, I found what I needed here & it was the perfect fit! Whirlpool gas dryer WGD5300 -Showing OLD Bad original pully nut 1st pic, cracked in half. That is why the belt severed.Hope this helps someone, I saw a video a guy used a WIRE COAT HANGER 12" long, then bent it and put into the hole of the frame. Then loosened 1 of the barrel screws and bent the other end of the hanger around the screw to hold the drum and snugged the screw, GENUIS.I did not have to remove the drum as the pictures show. I just shop vacced it all out under there, that is how I found the other side of the cast nut pully, was in the vac.I/we are super stoked that waiting a day or so to research, identify and then find we could get this for under $15? Nice.My wife & I are very pleased. This saved us from an expensive purchase we can now relax until the next "thing". Thank you.

make sure you know exactly what your part number is from manufacturer. otherwise this is perfect fit exactly how it was supposed to and it was installed in less than two minutes. literally a quarter of the price as well.
