Used this as a replacement for a plastic version, thus is very well made, nice clip to hold in place. Vast improvement on the older plastic version we had before.

Nice little unit. I like the dual lint screens. The kit comes with cheap, collapsable vent duct. Throw that out and use hard duct where possible or good flex duct. Otherwise, the trap itself is well made. Has 4 mounting tabs. Recomended.

The eight feet of tuning is nothing more than a coilwire wraped in tin foil Not very safe. Go to hardware store and get an soild alumimun adjustable tubing. Also the inlet and outlet tubes are smaller than the US tubing.. Will need to ready tighten the connection. Also the screens inside a sloppy fit. A little metal benting fixed the the problem. Working fine right now.

This lint trap really catches a lot of lint from our clothes dryer before it goes into the vent to the outdoors. It was easy to install, and it is easy to open the door, inspect the trap, and clean it. Our dryer hose is level to the floor, so I leave the trap on the floor and did not need to attach it to the wall. This will save us a lot of trouble with lint blocking the exit to the outdoors. This is a really good product.

This Lint Trap is outstanding and very easy to clean and reinstall the provided metal filter screens. The price point for this product was very reasonable and the functionality is perfect.As with any dryer vent installation, I highly recommend rigid or semi-rigid 4” dryer tubing with minimal bends to reduce lint buildup and to clean lint traps after each use of the dryer to prevent damage to your dryer and lessen the risk of fire caused by dryer lint buildup.

This Lint Trap is outstanding and very easy to clean and reinstall the provided metal filter screens. I think this is a great quality dryer lint box. It is metal - not plastic- with a see through door that latches closed. It has two metal mesh screens that trap the lint for easy removal. Very sturdy and easy to affix to a wall - comes with four wall plugs and screws. Also, comes with exhaust foil hose and metal clamps. Straightforward installation - I watched a YouTube 'how to' video which was helpful. There are many kinds of lint traps on the market, and I chose this one because it is metal and has a latched door. I read several reviews about the plastic types which experienced the door opening prematurely because of the dryer's hot air exhaust. This lint box was somewhat more expensive, but I think it is well worth it given the high quality.

Easy to install, where it is reachable and catches the lints first before it goes up the roof vent. I didn't used the flex hose that came with it. Instead i used a more insulated flexible hose that I also bought on Amazon and alumium tape to wrap around all of the hose end where you clamped it. There are two metal mesh lint catchers that you insert hortizonally and diagonally. The holes on these mesh are similar to the window screen you find around your house. The is a little bit of space within the lint trap box , between the hortizontal mesh insert and the top of the box that you can purchase some cheap finer mesh material filter to catch the finer, finer, finer lints, cut to size and stick it in there, which i did and it works it even better without your dryer stopping and showing error code for blockage. No more blockage and climbing roof to unclog! Quiet, no noise coming from the box.UPDATE: You would still need to open the box and clean out the lint , for me about every two cycles. If you purchase a separate finer mesh material filter that you insert in that extra top space that I mentioned, I find it is best to clean them with a lint roller. The lint roller picks up the lint faster than you trying to pick them out with your fingers 😀. I tried the washing method, it was ok, but you would still spend time to pick the lints with your fingers. Hope these tips help!
