These screws are by no means a "Premium Material". The screw heads break off with the slightest bit of resistance. The metal is brittle and weak. Head breakage happens even when a pilot hole is drilled. I cannot imagine what the manufacturer means by 'self tapping'. There's no way these screws are anywhere near strong enough to 'self tap' through anything but the softest weakest materials, and fail with even the slightest bit of resistance. These screws are an absolute bad joke compared to actual stainless screws of the same size. Maybe ok for balsa wood or plastic, but otherwise worthless.

As others have said these screws are garbage. They snap and break with minimal pressure, and do not self tap at all.
