PGMJ M6 wood inserts bolt furniture screws were used as the clamp hold down backing insert for a ~48” x 48” CNC spoil board. More than 350+ inserts were arrayed onto to the spoil board to provide multiple cam-clamp and hold-down options. Using the provided drill bit as a guide more than 350+ through holes hold were drilled into the MDF spoil board with a CNC bit. A cut down Hex wrench/driver (which was provided) was mounted to a cordless hand drill and used to insert the M6 wood inserts bolt screws flush the back of the MDF spoil board. Installation was a breeze, no inserts cross threaded into the drilled holes of the 3/4" MDF, given the number of inserts used. Only 1 or 2 inserts out of the 350+ used did not readily fit the hex driver proved. The M6 wood inserts bolt screws were matched with VIGRUE M6 x 12/14/16/20/25/30mm button head socket cap screws bolts with no issues. The spoil board with wood inserts bolt has been in constant use for about 3 months. Although the PGMJ wood inserts bolt furniture screws are probably not designed for the constant use (threading and unthreading), they appear to be holding up well given the CNC debris and torque applied to them. For this application I would highly recommend them. Importantly the M6 wood inserts bolt furniture screws were as specified in the description. and the provided drill bit and hex wrench made the installation much easier. Great product.

The drill bit works great, the hardware works great, and I had no problem with any of the threads whether that is screwing them into wood or fastening bolts into the hardware, will be buying these again

I can't complain. These worked for every project so far with high strength. The heaviest project was holding up a 200lb desk with medal desk legs. I used one in the medal and one in the desk to keep the screw straight and add a small measure of strength even when screwing and unscrewing multiple times. The goldfish paint did come off at times but I wasn't looking for color or beauty. I would recommend.

I used the included drill bit and allen key to install these in the underside of a Uline countertop. Very sturdy, easy to use.

These are awesome. So much better than the hammer in type. Having the correct sized drill bit included is a real time saver as well. Excellent.

Worked a treat. Granted I used them on pine but had no problems with them whatsoever.

These guys are definitely better than the ultra-cheap ones you find at the big green barn or t e-bay, but not quite heavy-duty as the ones you would find from specialized retailers. For my use (embedding in plywood when building jigs) they are good enough and the lack of precision (they are not super precise) is acceptable. I would not try to embed these in super hard woods such as Brushbox or Blackbutt, however.

I used these as part of the assembly of a standing desk project made from Acacia butcherblock countertop. The M6 threads are admittedly a little on the loose side, which you kind of want as it helps prevent galling of threads. You get a bunch of them, and I did not have any issues during install with the provided allen wrench.I used some wood glue as a lubricant during install, which will help keep these sturdy where they need to be. If they are load bearing, you'll want the extra security and will reduce the risk of these pulling out because you get a little heavy with your tightening. It comes with a supplied 9mm drill bit, which is worse than a used drill bit from Harbor Freight. If you're working on a project you really care about, or you're frequently installing these, absolutely get yourself a quality 9mm bit. The provided bit was slightly off square, and has a little bit of wobble. It's also duller than a butter knife - you will NOT want to use this bit in hard wood as I did. Most people that are going to buy these most likely have a full compliment of decent quality bits, albeit the 9mm size is kind of rare. Seriously get a good one.

Most of the threaded insert kits don't come with a drill bit at all, let alone a correctly sized bit. This made this kit quite easy to use. I drilled the holes to a predetermined depth, and used the included hex key to install them into the pre-drilled holes. No cracking in the wood, and the inserts are strong and threaded easily. Love these!
