I have them installed on a DIY solar array withe a 48V Battery.We have had some good rainy days lately and as expected I have no experienced any problems with the seals or connections.The connectors are easy to install and the performance is good so far, I have had this array running for around 2 months now and I'm pleased with the performance.

I got these to help me sort out the wiring for a solar panel that will keep a bank of small Lithium Ion batteries charged to run emergency amateur radio operations. The penel came with this kind of connector and these fit well.

These worked for me after I realized that I should not mix them with other brands. The fit was not 100% and I was getting worried about the reliability of the connection. Rather than waiting for other to be shipped I redid some connectors and made sure that all connections were from this brand. Its working and all is good so far.

I used these to wire up a solar combiner box I made for my array. So far, they have been operating since September, and everything is working fine. On the solar DIY forums, you will see that the biggest concern for off-brand MC4 connectors is leaking. If I have any issues, I will update my review. I always use slightly longer wires than I need in case I need to replace a connector.

These are extra for my solar system that I have added to 2 other panels. The first kit I purchase from another company, I already used. But I should have purchased the kit with the wire connector stripper / and crimper device. As now I needed to buy the handle crimper and needed to stop until I get it....But that's okay, as it snowed...these connectors work perfectly.

I’ve been trying to find a decent affordable MC4 connector for a bit. These are definitely NOT it. The good thing is they do fit mating the three other brands of MC4 connectors I tried. Another attempt with a different brand failed that test. Alas that is the only good thing about these. The latches are not formed correctly making them near impossible to remove and the standard separation tool does not work with these. The pins are weak metal and do not form correctly and lack the double crimp rings of most other brands I tried. The “mounting” ring in the plastic that holds the pins in is poorly formed and the pins did not snap in securely on several of the connectors I made. They do not make a good secure feel when mated with other connectors. Lastly the tightening wrench is poor tolerance and slips out before they are snug and fully tensioned. Thankfully the wrenches from a previous brand did work correctly.I’m still struggling to find a decent connector here. The inexpensive cables I have bought mostly have had good connectors with them but not the single connectors. This is the third brand of connector I have purchased and by far the poorest quality I have ever tried.
