I am pleased with the traps overall. I only used three of these in my pantry and placed them strategically in different spots. Several moths were present, most on the top ceiling area. The moths eventually disappeared after about 2-3 weeks, and I could see about 3-4 stuck in each trap. I still have five unused traps, so they should last a while.

Works great. If you have feed (bird/animal) it can come from the store with pantry moth eggs/larva in it and it doesn't take any time before you have a big problem because they breed fast. I guess even grocery store food like pasta can have them in it. They are very hard to get rid of. However, these things will attract all the males and leave the females very lonely childless shells of an insect. Before too long, the moths go away.Don't be surprised if you open one of these traps and within a couple minutes you have some moths checking it out.

These are amazing!Within a couple hours I’d caught 6 annoying pantry moths (see pics) without me having to chase them around with a fly swatter! Hahaha!!I placed one in my upstairs hall and 1 in my kitchen (see pics)Pros - size, cost, efficiencyThey are the perfect non intrusive size, and are easy to hang up (I don’t know about anyone else but I find it best to place traps up higher than just set on a surface - for when you have these guys flying throughout your house). You cannot smell them (unless you go right to the trap and sniff), they don’t look like roach or crawling bug traps (which was a concern as those can be somewhat “embarrassing “ for some ppl), and the price point was great.Cons - too sticky? Not sure this would be considered a con, but fair warning, if any of the sides of glue come in contact with the other, good luck separating them again!!! Even if it’s just a small section - for example - of you’ve set it up in the triangle shape as directed and grab it to place it but you grab too hard and it bends (they are a thick paper product), the glue could come in contact with another side. Thanks for reading!I hope this helps others consider this product when faced with pantry moths.A little extra info and a caution for those in my position -I raise/breed mealworms, and other grain loving critters which is how I started getting pantry moths to begin with (they’d come in the grain I use for the worms. Which is most likely why, in my case, I was seeing these lil buggers around my entire home! My mealworms are kept in my spare room, affectionately called my Spider and Bug room. I would see the moths in my bedroom at night, on my hall ways, and occasionally a couple would make it downstairs to my kitchen and living room.

These worked very well! It's crazy how it works. So be careful of pets! As soon as I took mine out of the foil they're in ( my only complaint is it's 2 in one foil) and peeled off the sticky part which has the pheromones on it . Made the little house and I had the pa try moths coming up from other rooms to find this and when I finally h8mg it up they still came first by wjere I put I t together. So next time I did all the above but next to where it was going. All the moths came from everywhere I have a 2 story home. And now no more moths.Wtg! More than enough in 1 pack for my problem.

I knew we had a lot of those bugs from buying bird seed and corn for the birds and squirrels. We were tired of trying to fight them off so I heard about these traps. I was hesitant about whether they would work as we had them in the garage and in the basement. I bought a package of these and it was crazy how easy they worked! They are super sticky but easy to use. I suggest folding the creases before Peeling the adhesive paper off as they will lay flatter that way on your surface. I placed 1 in the garage, 2 in the basement and 2 upstairs. It wasn’t even 5 minutes later and there were bugs already on the traps. I quickly placed another order for more traps as I didn’t want to run out!I replaced the traps in a couple days with fresh traps, and the number of bugs I caught the second time had diminished. I left the second traps out longer, catching a few more bugs but nothing like I had with the first traps. I have since replaced the 2nd traps with just a couple new 3rd traps just incase there are any lingering issues and so far, the traps are empty.I disposed of the traps by collapsing the sides in and putting them in the trash. Didn’t have to touch a single bug. Great product, I highly recommend it!!

3rd edit (August 7): I rarely touch these traps...but I think the pheromone is somehow on me now. The past three times I went to Kroger, I was followed by two or three pantry moths that must have hatched in the store. This is an unexpected turn of events. I so rarely see them in my home, but I can't escape them in a giant grocery store. That's a pretty good indication of how strong the pheromones are in these traps.2nd edit: It's been just over two months (July 3rd today) since we started using these traps. I just received my 3rd 8 pack and I'm interested to see how long it takes to fill them up or if I even get that many. There are very few flying around anymore and I assume they are females. We swat them when we see them. The 16 traps I used prior to today were all filled with moths by the time I disposed of them. Despite not seeing much activity, I want to give it at least one more round of fresh traps before I call the problem fixed. Though I imagine I will still keep some out to prevent reinfestation (new ones tend to show up in my dry goods). I think these are a solid investment if you have a pantry moth problem. The male moths are drawn to them like a candle flame.Just a suggestion to those dealing with this problem, also invest in sealed storage containers. Amazon has some great sets with a good rubber seal. I put all my cereals, rices, flours, sugar, etc. in them and it's helping prevent further infestations. I've also been freezing new dried goods as they come into my home. I have sushi rice and corn meal in the freezer as I write this. I leave them in there for a week before putting them in the sealed containers to kill any offending critters (I did not freeze my previous bag of sushi rice and it was infested with pantry moths inside the sealed container. They couldn't get out and while I was able to kill them all, I didn't want to use the rice after that). I also have a big bag of Turkish bay leaves that I spread on shelves and in drawers that hold food/spices. I read somewhere that they don't like bay leaves and it appears to be true. These moths (and even weevils) also like to get into boxes of Mac and cheese, pasta, boxed stuffing, rice-a-roni, etc. Freeze them all and seal them up.Edit to add: two days later and the traps are full of moths. So the sticky part works! We have been dealing with pantry moths off and on for years. We will get it under control and then one day they come back. It's always been confined to our kitchen...until this year. They moved into the living room and have taken over, driving us crazy. I feel like I'm killing 5+ a day.I just got these traps a few hours ago and only opened them within the last 30 minutes. I can't attest to how well they actually trap the moths, but the pheromones work! I was most skeptical about that part.I had just removed one of the papers off the sticky part and was swarmed by pantry moths. They are usually hiding in my curtains and we generally only see two or three aloft at any given time. I was surrounded at one point with close to ten hovering around me. One walked into a trap and got stuck, but two others were able to escape the sticky trap. So I'm not sure how well the sticky parts are going to work. But it brings them out of hiding. My husband and I were able to kill most of them just by luring them out of hiding. That alone makes these traps worth it.My second line of defense are some plug in traps that I'm waiting for. Hoping between the two products, we can get rid of this problem once and for all.
