Easy set up yet it is a bit sticky when opening and putting it in place. Overall works very well and I am very pleased with how much flies it caught right away.

Obviously these work. Some of the most efficient and effective methods of catching bugs. However, be very careful when untwisting them, I broke a few (yes I followed the directions and warmed them up in my hands first), and I also accidentally got some of their sticky stuff on some cabinets. Needed to use goo be gone to get it off. Worth the price I think. Especially with the amount of bug I had to get rid of.

These are classic fly strips that you hang with a tac(supplied). My reason for the mediocre rating is because of the failure rate of these strips I received through my amazon order. Perhaps this item was stored for too long in a warehouse or exposed to temperature extremes, or a bad batch... I can only speculate. Thus far I have used approximately 2/3rds of the box and have a 3:1 fail/success rate in deployment. We have been running about 70-80 degrees the past couple months up here, not terribly hot compared to Arizona or New Mexico... but warm enough for flies!! Per the directions/instructions on the bottom/back of the box "warm tube in hands if it is very cold to facilitate removal of ribbon." After that and several other methods attempted at creating a mailable product, I found that removing the cap with tac and then microwaving the tube in my cheap amazon microwave for 10-12 seconds on high was about perfect. However, even with this technique I still get 2/1, fail/success rate. They just disintegrate sometimes... meaning the loops detaches from the ribbon, the ribbon tears, or the ribbon separates from the tube causing the ribbon to recoil into a mess. If I zap it for less than 10 minutes the ribbon usually tears, as if the item is too stiff. If I go to 13, 14, 15 second I definitely get more separations such as ribbon or tube.

Being my workplace, my garage sees a lot of traffic. I live in a rural area, and no matter how hard I try to seal it, they manage to get in. By itself the tape works at catching flies, but by itself will not fix the infestation. We just had a swarm of termites pass through the area, so my floors are covered in dead termites. This gives the flies something to eat. Whenever flies start to show up, I know my garage is due for a deep clean. This tape, combined with a deep clean, eliminates the fly problem within a day or two. You also need to be strategic regarding placement. I turn on a single overhead light and place the tape around the light. Within an hour there's a bunch of flies stuck to it. Great product and will always keep a pack in storage.

I hung these strips near my guinea pig’s cage, and let me tell you, they delivered on their promise. Every single strip ended up covered in fruit flies—and it was absolutely disgusting! I mean, what did I expect? But still, seeing the evidence of how many flies were around was enough to ruin my appetite. These things work like a charm, but be prepared to face the gross aftermath. 5/5 almost did a 4/5 because i’m mad at how good they are!

It's a good product . Out of the 8 I opened up and used I only pulled the bottom off of 1. They are good and sticky and are full of flies. I had a 4 pack from a different company and all of them tore multiple times and they are not very sticky. These have caught way more flies.

Good amount for the price and they work great. Placing them near windows or trash I found worked the best. They don't have a bait or scent so you gotta be patient to let the flies land naturally but after about 3 days I couldn't find a fly anywhere. Also they are VERY sticky so I recommend wearing some disposable gloves while setting up or your fingers will get tacky. Hard to not get some on your fingers when deploying.
