This power supply works but does not have the ability to automatically turn the lights on and off. The original one did. When the mode button was pushed for something like 6 seconds, green light came on and then the lights would stay on for 6 hours and automatically shut off. Then the cycle would repeat daily. This power supply does not have that capability.

My string lights started flickering for no apparent reason, and eventually I found this modem which is the exact replacement for mine. I swapped it out and now the lights are working perfectly again.
