I shorted the first one by accident. Thank god that there were two of them in the package. The second one was connected without issue. It’s now providing power to one of the security cameras in my backyard and works great so far, even though its converted voltage is a little higher than the camera requires (12V vs 9V).

Very compact and put out a good DC voltage. I use them to power outdoor DC floodlights. It remains to be seen how long they will last in the cold winter. The last pair I bought started to fail randomly after 18 months including one winter. Time will tell if these last longer but at the low price even if they start to fail after the same time I wont complain

I installed some under-cabinet strip lights that are 12V. These work great to reduce the voltage from 120v.

Unit worked well initially but didn't last very long after a while it was beginning to get hot, then the lights begin to dim and flicker intermittently at high temperature after the install back in June the unit died today letting off a loud pop and a small cloud of gray smoke
