I needed an extended arm to lower my shower head so that I could reach the shutoff valve easier. This was easy to install, and does not leak. Perfect for what I needed.

This extension arm is easy to install and easy to adjust. Installed in shower to accommodate my short wife and my greater height, and a hand-held shower head with a long handle that was crowding the shower wall. The geared joints hold the shower head securely and are easy to adjust. The arm comes with everything needed for installation, including a wrench. The chrome finish is excellent.

I had to use the black washer from the old showerhead that I replaced. It took 3 tries to get this to stop leaking, despite using plenty of plumber tape and trying one of the extra O rings. The washer from the old shower head provided a strong and tight fit and it no longer leaks.1. The wrench that comes with this is invaluable. I don't think I could have gotten it installed without it.2. It comes with 4 extra O rings to help with leakage.3. The supplied plumber's tape is wonderful.4. I'm 5' tall and was able to adjust the angle and height to work for me. The brushed nickel color matches the new showerhead perfectly.5. We'll see if this stays leak-free and lasts over time. Seems well-made and sturdy.

My husband is 6'3" and I'm 5'2" (maybe). No matter what I did, the shower spray always seemed to hit me wrong, usually pummeling my face! This little arm, with a simple installation, made my shower a rainfall, and my husband can set it wherever he wants also. I'm so so so so excited. PS, when our boys come to town, one is 6'5" and the other is 6'8", and this will still work for them!!! I couldn't be more pleased.
