As said in other reviews works great and glad the motor and hinge came assembled. Fits on the Expedition EL but doesn’t include connection for the torsion bar. I removed the torsion bar and the running board works just fine.

Bought back in Apeil & finally got my 2010 Expedition into the Garage for installation, only to receive a call from them saying the left side motor only extended 1/2 way then stopped...Needless to say I was not impressed & had to order another one from a different supplier so I could get my vehicle out of the shop by Friday...I am also out $175 for the defective motor & another $275 for the new one...

Installation is pretty easy. This worked perfect the second it was installed. And the price is competitive. Thank you.

Dealer had quoted me $2200 per side for new everything, so $4700 after taxes. I happen to have a car lift I use for storage of another car. I put this SUV on it, and realized the connections were not fully connected, full of grame/sand... not sure what the dealer looked at but you would think they would actually clean and test. Anyway, after cleaning up the connections, both my motors were engaging but not moving well as previous owner had let them sit not running for years. I order these two new motors with brackets, got the rear brackets moving with some elbow grease, and moving them in a vice... but everything back together and worked like a champ!! Saved ~$4400.... whats crazy is that I just put new AMP powered running boards on a 2015 F350 at the dealer for $1700 last year, not sure where these prices are coming from, but its absolutely nuts.

This is the exact same part that fits the 2015 and newer Expedition/Navigator except the plug. Just cut and rewire the old plug on. Wire color codes are the same and everything.

This is the only way to go with the bracket installed already, because the motor is damn near impossible to get off the bracket. I ordered a different motor first and had to pay a shop to install in then I had to pay them again to take it off because the motor wasn’t powerful enough to work the step one it was installed on my navigator. If another motor goes out I will definitely buy another one of these because I can install it myself.
