The colors are so cute! Even when I felted it super tight it feels soft. I got so much I don’t know what to do with the rest! I’m gonna make cat toys since my cat likes the wool as much as I do (shown in picture. Anyone who wants to know, she’s fifteen and her name is Jinx).

I have used almost all of this ball of wool already. It is very clean and the colors are so pastel and pretty. Mostly cream and pale yellow with faint strands of turquoise, a faded navy blue type color, a couple shades of pale pink and a very light purple too. Like a faded rainbow of colors.It had a faint odor when it came out of the bag, but it was gone in the time it took to use it on a large cold weather hat.(about 4 days) So if you don't like the slight smell, just de bag it and unroll it a bit to let the fresh air in. In a couple days you can re-bag it. The length of the fibers are about 3 1/2 - 4" long.

You CAN spin yarn with this fiber, but it's definitely not intended for that. It does take some extra work to make it into yarn and it will break apart a lot. This fiber is quite dry and produces an itchy yarn. To combat this, you'll need to toss the finished yarn into a water/conditioner or water/fabric softener bath.When it does want to spin, it's pretty. The fiber lengths on this are incredibly short, which is not the typical experience with easily available options like merino wool. This isn't my top pick, but I will be finishing out the rest of my pack with it for practice - it's helping me learn to troubleshoot on the go, so I guess that's a plus.

I purchased this wool to spin. I returned to update my review with a new one. This wool is what it is advertised to be. It is of higher microns, but it CAN be spun with a drop spindle. The product would also be better for felting I think personally. I gave it another chance. It can be spun but it's not the best for spinning, it's definitely great for practicing. Thanks :)
