Arrived in a small, dense vacuum sealed plastic bag. Wool pieces are felted in big hard clumps, totally unsuitable for stuffing anything. Product description is false and misleading! I’m sending it back!

It’s not washed, full of pricks and burrs, I can’t use this to stuff anything with, it will hurt someone. I understand that they said it would come with some sticks etc, but there’s literal spikes in it.

This is just what I was looking for, the cost savings is worth picking out the pieces for me.The wool is washed and clean to the touch and clean smelling. There is a lot of debris (from plants) that is in there and needs to be picked out. This is NOT ready to go wool, but it is as advertised, clean wool with small bits of field debris to be removed.

I bought this for making Waldorf dolls and other needle felting projects. I enjoy separating and fluffing up the fibers (carding) and it felts together very well! There’s no smell and makes great centers or unseen parts of projects. There are only little bits of plant matter left from the meadow, but I’m fine with that… lets me know the sheep were out in the sunshine! 🐑

I purchased this product to use as bedding for my Flying Squirrels. They absolutely loved it and packed their houses with it to the brim. The wool is packed densely and worked well for my purposes. It does have a considerable amount of debris, which might affect its use as a stuffing for dolls and furniture, which is reflected in my four star review. I wanted raw and untreated wool, and I that is what I happily received.

I really like this wool. It is very clean but for the weed spurs, they are terribly sharp. Not a whole lot of them but enough I would not buy again.

If I didn’t have a drum carder this would be 4 stars but this is a wonderful buy if you do have a carder. The amount on the left is what it looked like before carding and the amount on the right is what it looks like after. It’s wonderful wool for the interior of your felting projects. I definitely recommend getting a carder if you’re getting serious about felting. It gets rid of debris and changes the wool to make it more workable. But yes, this is a product I will be purchasing again!

Yes indeed, there are teeny bits of seeds, leaf bits, and micro sticks in this wool. However, it is easy to remove this stuff with just my fingers, and it felts very nicely. So fat I have used it as core wool for Christmas ornaments and some wee cartoonish puppy sculptures. It felts up very solid. In my bag, I found some pieces with waves or curls that I hope to use as exterior locks for a curly coated puppy project. The lanolin (grease) has been removed, so it is not sticky and it doesn’t smell funny. There’s enough wool packed into my 1 lb bag to last me for a very long time through many projects!

The wool is matted and full of nubs. Not even useful as practice wool to get back into spinning. Impossible to hand card. Overpriced and disappointing. Will not buy from this company again.

Meh. It’s nice wool, and it is as described. But it can’t be used for pillows or stuffed animals realistically because the debris includes thorns. I was expecting bits and pieces but not thorns! I can’t pick them out, there’s too many and they’re too small. I was making pillows for a baby swing but I’ll have to find something different.
