It’s a decent set of hones for the money but the stones are extremely soft and wear very prematurely

The EADUTY 7 Pcs Engine Cylinder Hone Kit covers a large range of cylinder sizes from small wheel cylinders to large engine cylinders. I don't know how long they would last in a shop, but for a home workshop this is a nice set. They seem to be decently made. For occasional use, this is a nice set.

The stones that come with the hone are terrible. Way too soft, completely wore away within two cylinders.

I have a few cylinder hones that I've had for decades, but I need a different size to rebuild a small engine, so when I saw this set on Amazon Vine I ordered it. This EADUTY 7 Pcs Engine Cylinder Hone Tool Kit covers 3/4-inch to 7-inches. There are three complete hones, and three extra length stone holders that fit the largest hone. The stones are 220 grit, which should work fine to deglaze most engine cylinders. Everything looks pretty standard, so you shouldn't have any problem finding replacement stones. We used to use these to clean up brake cylinders, but for many years now it's been cheaper to just replace the cylinder, at least on most cars.Using cylinder hones is pretty easy, but if you don't know what you're doing find several youTube videos. Don't rely on just one video, because you may find someone who doesn't know what they are doing. If anyone recommends honing a cylinder dry, don't even bother watching the rest of the video. The hones come in a nice blow-mold case, which is really nice, and much better than throwing them in a toolbox drawer.
