This was exactly what I needed to replace a glass one that was broken due to cold. It fits the rain stake holder at 8 & 1/4" tall overall & does hold up to 7" of rain. The large numbers are very easy to read. The cleaning brush that came with it is a nice bonus. It is also a good value considering you get two.

I am disappointed. I had high hopes for this device because of superb display and functionality. It worked for two months, then stopped and reset. I lost accumulated rain totals. I replaced what I thought might have been a bad battery, and it worked for two more weeks. Picking it up to look at temperature, it beeped, reset, beeped again, reset. Clearly in distress, just flexing the case, it resets. It was never dropped or abused. It simply abused my patience. I am really disappointed.

I’m quite excited with the 7” glass rain gauges. They arrived securely wrapped in plastic bubble wrap and nice large, clear numbers makes them easy to read. I was a little surprised when delivery date was on Sunday! But sure enough, l was not to be disappointed.

"plastic tube will not freeze crack" "There is no need to worry about freezing cracking in the winter" This is 100% false. I purchased this rain gauge, looks nice and I do like it, however it cracked the first winter. my 12 yr old did his best to crazy glue the crack. Time will tell if that works. if not, will prob order another one, but take in for the winter.

Perhaps not the most exciting item available on Amazon, however this is a nice two-pack rain gauge replacement tubes. They are sturdy and I expect will last multiple years. I like that they have easy to read numbers and especially appreciate the gradations are in 0.1" (10 per inch) not 0.125" (8 per inch). Haven't yet tried the cleaning brush, but it seems serviceable enough. Recommended.

I purchased this to replace a glass one that broke. It was a little large for the holder I had purchased elsewhere but did the trick! It’s sturdy but what most pleases me is the visibility of the numbers on the container making it easy to read from the window on a rainy day.

perfect size for my flower bed and to be able to read it out my front door. The numbers are large. Also, since the tube come out, easy to empty and clean.So inexpensive and perfect

This is only 24 1/2" tall when pushed into the ground. Not the advertised height. The metal rod is very small in diameter. Underwhelmed by this product.
