I made a mistake a short time ago regarding this rain gauge. I said it was broken. However, that was incorrect. Several days ago, two glass rain gauges arrived and one of those was broken. At the time I reported this newest one was broken I was unaware that the plastic rain gauge had been delivered. There was no problem with the item I received today. Sorry for my mistake. we've been wanting to get one for a while! it's not raining now of course but it was when we bought it and worked great for measuring the rain that we had! would definitely recommend!

The guage shows almost 3 inches of rain but have only received 1 and 6 tenths.

I had to replace a leaky gauge and took a chance on this one which turned out to be a far superior model, easier to read, easy maintenance : I DONE GOOD!
