Moderate assembly took about an hour from unpacking from metal crate to tightening last bolt. Don't forget to add 80-90 weight oil to the gear box AND grease all fittings . First time using I cut about 5 acres of 1-3' tall grass and it looked like a golf course fairway once I was done. I used my 40hp New Holland to start with but next time I will try my 25hp John Deere 3025E as I believe it will work too. Except for being short 1 nut & bolt (quick trip to ACE Hardware fixed that) I would say it is a great unit and would buy again.

Love the right-side offset, well built for the price. This mower cuts through tall weeds with ease on my JD2520.

I assembled the mower in an hour or two. I used it behind my Belarus 572, which is a 65 hp tractor. I put the cutting height the highest it could go to mow the first time. I drove very slow to start, but shortly increased the speed as this mower chopped right through the thickest weeds and grasses which were growing all summer to a height of 3 to 4 foot. I also ran over some tractor high autumn olive bushes 2 inches in diameter and smaller. it chopped the bushes up a little, but the bigger ones were just rolled over basically. I'll have to mow some areas a few times to get it chewed down good enough. I accidentally hit a small rock or two, but was thankful it didn't even shake the tractor much at all. It chopped things up and left the matter neatly laying on the surface. small chunks, but not fine. I am very pleased so far! I have mowed about 3 hours. I took it slow and got about 3-4 acres done.

I purchased in July, but by time for a review, Amazon had discontinued the 68" model. So I posted on the 61" unit. I copied from 61", and now provide belowI've been using the flail mower for 4 months, and an update.1. The lock nuts don't lock. I'll be replacing them with lock nuts from Tractor Supply, and if that fails, will get longer bolts and use jam nuts.2. The angle rod that runs the length of the rear roller has ripped from it weld and bent - needs to be heavier steel.I still rate as 5 star, but unless they replace the lock nuts with better quality, you're looking at the time and expense to replace + and lost flails.Reviewed in the United States on August 16, 2023I bought the 68" unit which I do not see advertised. Delivery was with a lift gate truck (no extra charge), with two men who handled off-loading without issue. Heavy gauge steel, well built and assembled, shipped in steel shipping cage. No instructions, but pretty self evident. No guidance on gear oil choice - I chose 80-90, which is about 30 weight engine oil in viscosity. Be sure to grease all fittings, including one housed with belts. Used about 6 hours first day - great job. I was so impressed with manufacturer - Saniking (I think) - I looked for a chipper they might make, without success.
