I bought this bit after the set of 3 originally purchased wore out after about 6 spot weld removals (made in China). This bit (I believe made in the U.S.A.) has proved itself to be of high quality, so far, and continues to cut spot welds rapidly. I have NOT seen it getting dull after cutting about 20 spot welds. It has about 24 more to go and I am confidant it will stay sharp.
