This bridge is to replace a plastic one that came with the guitar and was shimmed on #1 end. Sounded horrible on #6! This bridge fits solidly in the slot but was shorter in height than the plastic one by 1/16"! Taking a chance at a better sound today, I put a piece of brass in the slot to match and restrung - definitely sounds better even if the shim is a bit of a hack. Will see if I like this long term, was expecting to have to sand to fit the bridge not shim so beware these might be a bit small.

I found an acoustic guitar sitting by a dumpster with no strings. I put some strings on it and it was super buzzy. I decided to change the nut and wala it sounds like a brand-new guitar. It sounds really good. I'm super excited that such a small investment transformed the guitar.
