These AOKLIT square U-bolts work adequately for light applications, but don't expect outstanding strength due to their carbon steel construction. I ended up using only 2 of the 6 U-bolts, along with three flat plates for each of two assemblies. When I tightened the nuts, I noticed the bolts started to bend and deform, which is concerning for more demanding tasks.Overall, they get the job done for basic household or light industrial use, but if you require a more robust solution, you might want to consider a stronger alternative.

These U bolts are an excellent larger size. They worked very well for a quick shelter I put up for some extra wind/snow/rain protection for my animals. The hold is strong and they comfortably fit around my T posts. They are simple to use and tighten well. I think for hobby farm use they are great. I can’t speak to heavy duty industrial use though.

These are zinc plated carbon steel - which offers moderate resistance to rust and corrosion, but is not as good as stainless steel.These could be used outdoors in a pinch - but they absolutely are NOT ideal for trailers or sailboats, as the title suggests.So these are probably fine for household use and general use. Personally I would only use them temporarily outdoors - I intend to use these indoors.These are fine for what they are, no complaints per se. But I usually get name brand stainless steel U-Bolts for less than these, so I'm not sure the appeal. I would of course prefer name brand (that offer load bearing specifications), and higher quality stainless steel.

CONS: Nuts.PROS: 6-pack.Additional Thoughts: This is just a basic 6 pack of U-bolts. I got this to mount reverse lights to my receiver hitch on my truck. These U-bolts fit around the hitch very well. I do think these nuts will vibrate loose quickly so I would prefer if these came with locking nuts.LovingTheRetiredLife

I recently redid my boat trailer which involved buying new brackets and keel roller assemblies and bolting them to the frame.These strong carbon steel bolts, with backing plates and nuts, helped me do a strong, pro-grade job on the installation.

I needed some U-bolts for a project I have, and find these to be more than adequate for what I need. I received 6 all together and all came with a nut & washer. I would recommend for any hardware needs as the quality is good, and not cheap material. 3 out of 5 stars.

The six U bolts (3/8" diameter) with straight straps, nuts and washers is priced about right at currently eighteen dollars after coupon. Due to the very good quality the product earns five stars at that price (but if the price goes up I might drop a star to four).The U bolts at 3/8" are fairly beefy. The washers and nuts are standard. The straight straps are actually thicker and stiffer than I would have expected so that is a nice surprise.The product description at one point says left hand threads. That is not correct; the threads are standard right hand.Overall this is a very good product with no real drawbacks. I would note that stainless steel would be superior if corrosion resistance is essential so it might be worthwhile to look at similar ss products. I think they are priced not that much higher.

These 6 Pcs Square U-Bolts are made from sturdy 3/8" carbon steel with a zinc-plated finish, and they worked perfectly for my needs—even though I used them in a non-conventional way. I needed tie-down points for my trailer, so I cut off the threaded ends of four of the U-bolts and welded the remaining pieces to the sides of my trailer. The 3" width was exactly what I needed, and the steel is incredibly strong, easily capable of holding the heaviest loads I’d ever transport.I'll keep the remaining two U-bolts for future projects. The zinc plating adds a nice layer of rust resistance, which is always a plus for outdoor or trailer applications.This set is a fantastic option whether you're using them conventionally or for custom projects like mine. The quality and durability are excellent, and I’m very satisfied with the results! Highly recommended.
