The U bolt itself is pretty sturdy but the plate could be a little more stout. Does the job!

Exactly what I expected, the quality is decent. I knew going in these weren't heavy gauge industrial type you bolts, but for what I'm going to be using them for, with just some DIY projects, they will be perfect. they're affordable and in my opinion pretty good value for what you get. If you're in the market for u-bolts like these, I have no problem recommending these.
