NOTICE:
1. Reduce friction coefficient:
a. It is recommended to apply water wax or add lubricant (such as 40# oil) on the surface.
b. Clean thread surface (no ash sand, blasting slag, debris).
2. Correct operation method:
a. Must be perpendicular to the axis of the thread, do not tilt.
b. In the tightening process, the force must be uniform, and the tightening torque must not exceed the safe torque.
c. Use torque wrenches or socket wrenches whenever possible and avoid adjustable wrenches or electric wrenches.
d. Avoid using at high temperature, do not rotate quickly when using, to avoid a rapid rise in temperature.

EVERY other seller of U Bolts had excessively large U Bolts to use on 4"x 2" trailer frames and tongues. This is a common trailer tongue size and too large U bolts won't be as secure. These U bolts are an exact fit, manufactured with non-rusting stainless steel, and come with all the hardware you need to securely install them. Highly recommended.

Purchased for my boat trailer. These have messed up threads. The u-boat looks really good out of the package. However, about 3/4 of the way down the threads, the nut locks and jams and will not tighten or loosen any further. The bent U-Bolts you see are due to trying to get these to tighten or even loosen. I had to put that much muscle behind it just to get it to start turning again. Now the metal is weak and these are useless. Sending them back for a full refund. Will not be using this crap again. I guess I'll be going to the hardware store tonight! This was definitely a useless product that they charged you a premium for.

The product is fine but there was 5 missing washers and 5 missing lock washers.

As other reviews mentioned, the threads bind and seize when they begin to tighten. The nuts thread on perfect and are easy to hand tighten. Once you start using a wrench and torquing, they begin to bind to the point you can't tighten or loosen. They might work if your application doesn't require them to be really tight and you never plan to remove them. I had to make some adjustments and ended up cutting them off as the it was impossible to remove the nuts. Nice looking bolts, but very disappointed in performance.

Absolutely fine quality, the pictures and past negative reviews about quality clearly aren't what I received, excellent stuff and it made it next day! We actually sell hardware and this was for a personal project and I wasn't able to aquire it from our distributor in time for a trip, excellent!!!!!!

This is beautiful stainless hardware. I was really surprised when I opened the box and saw these. Very nice hardware to use on any boat trailer, or any other trailer for that matter. Very well made.

These are really nice stainless steel brackets (lock washers are not SS), but there is something wrong with the external threads. I checked all of the dimensions for 1/2"-13 threads and they seem to check out. The thread pitch and major diameter are correct, but the pitch diameter appears to be a little"fat". I don't have pitch gauge wires to verify this assertion. The bottom line is that in order to prevent the assembly disaster I experienced you MUST oil the threads and screw on the nuts 15 - 20 revolutions then remove the nut and clean off the nuts threads. After this procedure you'll have no further problems. What appears to be happening is that the nut is acting as a threading die but the small chips have no where to go and cause the nut to completely lock up. It happened to me twice. The first time I had to cut the nut off with a hacksaw. The second time I just got a 3 foot breaker bar and just twisted the bolt off (see photos). I really think that they are a good deal and will be buying more but will also be taking the precautions noted above.
