There are a lot of ulcer treatment options on the market but this is the best option for treating a horse with ulcer. The other options may work great for preventative but if you have a horse that is exhibiting severe ulcer symptoms then one tube a day for 14 - 30 days is the best treatment. Consult with your vet to ensure that there are not other underlying issues. This is a product that we keep fully stocked at our rescue farm.

This isn't a cheap treatment by any means, but it does work for my horse who has a history of ulcers. He showed signs of improvement right away and with the treatment regime my vet recommended he back to his normal self.

No problem with the product itself. Ulcergard is amazing. However, the seller "EntirelyPets" shipped product was is set to expire in 2 weeks (2/16). It will expire before I'm able to use it.

Top of the line product. Amazon has one of the best prices. I cannot wait until the patent expires so the price goes down. Another good cheaper alternative is Abprazole. I used both for my horse's ulcers. I started with Ulcergard and then switched to Abprazole and finished off with Excel Horse Digestive supplement. She is finally doing better.

I found it very difficult to but the UlcerGuard here in Casa Grande. Only one feed store, in town, carried the product and they only had a couple of tubes on hand and would order one or two more at a time. This involved driving into town to buy it several times a week. I ordered UlcerGuard from Amazon and it arrived 3 days later. I ordered enough to continue treatment and have some on hand for further use. Buying on Amazon was not only convenient, it was much more affordable too!

I love ulcergard. It's easy to administer, no chance of them not getting it. I never leave town without starting a dose the day before and using it every day that I am gone. My horses don't get cranky, nor do they get sick. Great product.
