This is definitely not a 10 day supply. It was 5 days and You can barely get your hand in the bag to scoop the product out! Do not recommend

I have two horses, one who is already on a gut supplement, so trialed this on my other guy. It was the only change I made to his diet. Fed the recommended amount at an evening feeding. He readily ate the product. However, the next day he was off. Appetite way down and just not himself. I held off feeding the product again for several days and he went back to his normal self. The next time I tried it, I fed half the recommended amount. Again, he showed decreased appetite and a general slump in his normal activity. I did not feed it again and he has had no issues since. It is possible he has a sensitivity to one of the ingredients; he has seasonal allergies so is prone to such things. I did not trial it with my second horse as he is on a supplement for his gut and gets along very well, so I did not want to rock the boat with him. There is nothing in the ingredients that would alarm me, so I do not blame the supplement for his reaction. Just a good reminder that horses are individuals and may not tolerate a product that is well received by other horses. I would say it is a very expensive supplement so do your homework. Appreciate it is made in the USA.

This additive seems like an effective way to help our horses. It wasn't hard to put the directed amount on top of their food so it was easy to use. They ate it up right away so they liked the taste. It didn't smell bad for me so that was good.

First thing you know about this supplement is all of our horses will eat it. Not true of everything. We wanted to start a product like this based on the fact that we were recently in one of the Southern California fire areas, and evacuated horses through active flame, and had to stay at an evacuation center for multiple weeks. Several of our barn horses were not terribly happy with the evacuation center, and we felt the extra gut support would be helpful.The product was well constructed of ingredients that we would've Put into a product like this if we were trying to construct it from scratch, some of which are not available in use quantities, so we felt it was a good match for our stressed critters.

Not sure how well the product worked, but the horse was not put off by the scent or flavor. The product itself was very messy to get out of the bag and I would have to brush it off my hand each time. The included scoop was helpful, but the product was hard to measure out accurately.I got this hoping it would help my mare gain weight, and this did seem to help calm her stomach enough to have her eat all of her meals, which was something she wasn't really doing before I added this product.

I got this supplement for an older OTT Thoroughbred that is still very high strung and often has stress related stomach issues that affect his eating. I have noticed great improvement in his interest in food (meaning his stomach is feeling better) after only 4 days of the treatment - I will finish out the dosage cycle but I can say in his case it definitely works.

We got this to try with an elderly gelding that has been having a few issues. We mixed it in with his regular mash and he actually seemed to like the taste. It's hard to say in such a short time if there is any improvement, but there were no bad side effects. I like supplements that horses like, and that you don't have to disguise in something else. 1.1 pounds is about a ten day supply, so cost wise, if you are looking for a regular additive, this isn't it, but if you wanted to help give an immune and probiotic boost to your horse, or just try it to see if it helps with gut issues, this may be the way to go.
