These placemats are a great addition to our household. They are colorful and vibrant, plus plenty big. I love the 6 learning categories and am not too bothered that Australia says Oceania. That's where we and schools step in and help our children learn, too. The non-skid back is mostly effective, and the fronts are easy to clean. They remind me of how plastic folders feel.I like how they look on our dining room table, and my 4 year old enjoys using them during meals and at other times too. Would make for a great gift, and the price can't be beat. 10/10 recommend!

These are the best placemats you can get for youngsters! I am always trying to think of ways to teach my toddlers that are fun and different. These placemats are perfect for mealtime and keep them engaged at the table without requiring something to distract them. We have a tabletop that is somewhat uneven on purpose and miraculously these placemats stay put on it very well!! That was the biggest surprise and my favorite part - I’m totally sold on them! They’re very fun and interesting although Australia is called Oceana and Pluto is not listed (maybe I’m just behind times?), but I can look past this for the quality and education they provide. My daughter loves counting on the number one while my son likes telling us about the US states. Very good purchase and would be a great gift for those with littles!

When I heard a Jeopardy winner say she had a place mat of the states growing up, and the state colors stayed in her mind to identify each sate. maybe my great niece will become a Jeopardy player/winner

I use these on my 3 year old sons art/learning/crafting table. He loves to rearrange them according to the colors.The are slip resistant, fun, good size, easy to clean, great vibrant colors, and won't be easy to scratch or damage.💯% recommend.

Great price for 6 placemats. Love that they do slide like a lot of others do. Especially like the US and World mat for my 5 year old but he has out grown the other ones so we will keep for his younger brother. I wish they had a set for the 5-6 year olds like addition and subtraction etc.

I recall having something very similar as a child and these bring back good memories. These are quite large allowing not only room for a plate, but those elbows that are not supposed to be on the table. The surface has a texture similar to a thin plastic cutting board. The backs of the mats do have little dots to hold it in place so they do not slip around but at the same time are small enough to make cleaning easy. My daughter has 3 kids, ages 2-13 and the educational content on each placemat is progressive, therefore, there is something to be learned by all, including those parents that do not know all their state capitals. Added bonus, the routered edge along my table no longer gets food in it requiring a toothpick to clean it out!
