Works great. Stiff at first, but loosens up as you go. I work in orthopedics, so I use it to cut splinting material/dressings. It has cut through everything I need it to so far. It’s heavy and durable, feels expensive. Multiple colleagues bought them after seeing/using mine. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

Work great and functions well in the ER & trauma setting. All the docs and nurses think they are cool too. Haha! Love the price point!

Love the quality and design, they work just as well as the actual raptor trauma shears. They are a bit flashy as you can see from the pictures, but they look cool and not cheap like you would expect from the price. They are super tight and there is no play in between the blades. They have some really cool feature just like the raptors, including a window breaker, seat belt strap cutter, and o2 wrench. The sheath works well and is handy as you can store with the shears folded or opened. The only fault that I noticed was that the o2 wrench and seat belt cutter was tough to open due to them being fastened with a normal threaded screw that comes tight, so when you open it, it's actually tightening the screw. I can only really get it half way opened. I would have swapped that to a reverse thread screw or a different mechanism all together. That being said, the amount of times that you need an o2 wrench is not enough that I am concerned about it, and the shears would definitely cut through a seatbelt.I would definitely buy these as they are great quality for the price. A great thing to add to the belt for any paramedic, firefighter or rescuer out there.

These trauma shears are excellent quality. They are very sharp, strong and have an amazingly tight clearance. They will be so nice for cutting through tough clothing like motorcycle leathers.

They do the job but not as sharp as the more expensive brand. Great value for the price though.

Heavy duty, good quality. Heaviness is more than a basic trauma shear but it has many more features.

These are superior trauma/emergency shears our uses. Strong, clean cutting, single hand use cutting through bandages and clothing. Everything else on these shears is just a great bonus. The folding mechanism is well designed, and when unfolded, the shears are extremely solid -- a solid as non-folding shears. Two buttons, one on each handle, have to be pushed to fold, so no chance of accidental folding. Folded they are very compact, so much so that instead of packing them in the first aid kit in our vehicle, we have them in them fully folded in their holster/carrier and clipped onto a visor for easy access. The vehicle related tools need to be handy in the unhappy event one needs them; the belt cutter quickly flips out (keep the shears folded) of one handle and slices through belt material with ease -- no problem getting that belt off in an emergency. The belt cutter doesn't lock in position, neither closed nor open, so open it all the way to pull/cut safely. Same ease with the glass breaker, which one should also always have in the vehicle. This glass breaker looks just like the one we already use, but to be certain, we headed over to our favourite autobody repair shop who had a window we could break, and it worked as expected on the first stiff blow (keep the shears folded to do this, so take it straight out of the holster and whamo). We haven't tried the ring cutter as we don't have any soft metal to give it a go on. The oxygen tank tool is a rectangular opening on the belt cutter, so easy access with the shears closed, and easy to use.As we said, we wanted good quality folding shears, and these met our expectations. The vehicle related extras are a great bonus. I doubt we'll need the ring cutter or oxygen tank valve tool, but who knows, we used to say that about belt cutters and glass breakers until they were needed on the scene of accidents before first responders got there. The shears of course are handy all the time.
