I made noodles today. I went for the spiral, you can see it doesn't spiral them like the photos, I guess you have to spiral them yourself. It would have been nice to have a book of recipes and how to make the noodles with this. Next time I would make the noodle very long and spiral the whole thing and then cut it. It also is pretty slow. I got a set of noodles maybe every 15 seconds. It seemed to heat up the dough a little so the noodles started sticking to each other which I show in a photo. Didn't start out that way. I think the chute press should be round, not half moon shaped to push the whole dough down. So that is my list of cons. I do like that it makes noodles and it was easy to use once I figured it out. The instructions are so so, but I show some photos that may help you figure out the parts. I am so-so on this product, I will use it, but I am not excited about it like I hoped to be.

This attachment fit well on my KitchenAid and has so many attachments for making different noodles. Much easier than rolling out by hand. Takes a little effort to clean just like anything you use to make dough. Saves time though!

Always wanted one of these attachments for my mixer but never got around to it until now. Works well for normal spaghetti, but I haven't tried the different, more complex pastas yet, but looking forward to trying.

As we continue our adventures into making more home-made meals, this little gadget will fit well into our plans. It's easy to use, attaches perfectly to our Kitchenaid mixer, and after some minor speed testing works well for our needs.Of course we had to read some blogs and watch a few YouTube vids to figure out the right recipe (especially getting the moisture right), we were on our way to a variety of fresh pastas that cooked up super fast and tasted great. Not as convenient as just dumping store-bought pasta into the boiling water, but that's the point right? Also really easy to clean up in the dishwasher, and we're looking forward to trying a ton of new recipes.
