This is great for making your own-it is not lightening fast and takes some work but sooooo worth the effort. I recommend cleaning it up immediately after you use it. It was easy to clean in my opinion but I don't think it would clean up as well when pasta dough dries in it. Good value for the money. Works great. But, a bonus; ya know the ingredients!I would recommend!

I tried 4 different shapes. The cork screw noodles didn’t turn out but was satisfied with the rest I’ve tried so far. Only wish it came with the stomper to push the dough into the tube.

I love this little pasta attachment for my mixer! I make elbow pasta for my little one! I mix the dough in my mixer and then run it through this and it's quick and easy!

I got this pasta maker because I love creating things in my kitchen. I just got a new KitchenAid mixer and this pasta maker was a game changer. It takes some trial and error to get the consistency right but once you do it's amazing.

So we've used this a few times now and it's just okay. It takes some time to figure out how best to use it since the instructions aren't great and the quality is about what you'd expect since it's nearly all plastic. It is not a fast process once you factor in cleaning everything and it doesn't get a whole lot of use around our house. We do like that it is an attachment for the Kitchenaid because at least we don't have to worry about the motor or it not having enough power, etc. It is kind of fun and gratifying to make your own pasta. If you are a serious cook who plans to make pasta all the time you might want something slightly nicer but if you are only planning on occasional use like us then I think it's fine.

It looks like a nice unit. Too bad there aren't written instructions as well as the diagram. It's probably me, but I can't get it assembled.
