This is quality spy-glass/telescope for our little Pirate. The magnification is very mild but that's ok, it's just for fun. My 3 year old grandson loves it. The wooden box is a nice feature, and he puts it away there for safe keeping (most of the time). The perfect gift for your little pirate!!

This product was exactly what I was looking for and great for the price. My friend’s three year old loves pirates and treasure hunts so I had to get this. I got a cheap wood engraver from Walmart, put his name on the front of the box, and the phrase “Never stop exploring” on the bottom. Then I buried it in his backyard and asked him if he wanted to go treasure hunting. The look on his face when he uncovered the box was priceless and something I’ll always remember. The wooden box it comes is good quality (enough to engrave without issue) and the gold anchor on the top really gave it a pirate-y feel. As for the telescope itself, it’s pretty sturdy and us adults were all impressed that it actually worked. Obviously it’s small and the view can’t be focused, but I think it’s well worth the price and it definitely made the little guys day. Very happy with it!
