The vertical design is perfect for saving space, and it holds up to five seed trays without feeling wobbly. The lightweight plastic construction makes it easy to move around, yet it still feels sturdy and well-balanced when fully loaded. While I’m currently using it for seed starting, I can see it working as a plant display rack or a small storage shelf. It’s also waterproof and easy to clean, which is great for indoor or outdoor use.

Not really worth $70 maybe $20 you can't fit a 72pod starter on it. Small for size and not sturdy.

This went together without any real effort, but seems snug enough that it won't fall apart either. It's a plastic shelf, so don't go nuts with the weight, but seems pretty sturdy. My only "complaint" is that it wasn't completely free of flash from the mold, but that's a very minor issue and not something I'd worry about. Definitely recommended.

I ordered this set because we have taken to soil blocking rather than starting seeds in the very little cells or together in various wide trays (lose fewer healthy seedlings when transplanting this soil blocking way). So, I wanted a set of trays with raised edges in which we could place the soil blocks. I was also thinking this stacking set would be ideal light-wise, since I could just attach one of the strip lights to the underside of the upper tray. We ended up not doing the lights since so far we only needed two trays and have a window to fit both, but it would be an option in the future (especially since I *really* want to rearrange the furniture in that room, as soon as these seeds don't need the dresser to sit on).So, what's particularly made me like these trays: while long (fit a lot of soil blocks), they are still sturdy enough that the trays do not sag in the middle when filled with all the soil. This means they stay evenly tilted, and if you mist them and water ends up on the tray, it evenly distributes across instead of pooling around the center soil blocks. They stack! And, there is easily enough space between stacked trays to have soil blocks and have the seedlings grow to transplantable size without them being too close to the top of the next tray. I can recommend. My daughter promptly adopted a couple to make a bed for her baby doll; I'm included that shot, in addition to the image of my tray all boringly in use for seeds, so that you can see the spacing between them.

This 5-tray seed starter rack is very simply made. I like the color, smoothness and depth of the trays, but the usable size of each tray is actually only 16 1/4" x 9 1/2" size, so not all of my starter-tray sizes will fit into it. It was easy enough to finally put together however, It actually would have been faster if a small sheet of instructions had been included so I didn't have to take some time figuring out which pieces went where. It will do for starting seeds that don't need light in order to sprout. It is extremely lightweight, so animals or children could knock it over easily if not strategically placed. Truthfully though... It is all totally just plastic type quality, similar (kind'a) to a children's eating/lap tray, and it actually seems a bit over priced to me. I was expecting a bit more sturdiness than what it is. But, it will do.

You can't argue with the price of this stand. Loading it up with 4 levels of seedling trays with lights and heater mats etc and it feels like it will topple over. But it's also super cheap. And easy to break down for storage over fall/winter

The item was securely packaged. I immediately put it together which took about 10-15 minutes due to my personal ailments. Very sturdy. Well worth the price!
