I LOVE these. I'm always buying those stupid plastic seedling trays at WalMart and throwing them away after each season. But these silicone trays are amazing!!! The bottom is flexible silicone so that you can pop the dirt and seedling right out of the tray when it comes time. There are holes in the bottom so that the soil can drain or the seedlings can soak up water from below. I've bought a few of these so now I have a good number of reusable starter trays - now I just need to find a good plastic tray to fit these in instead of buying the cheap black plastic ones that I throw away every year.Overall, this is a fantastic product to reuse and reduce on plastic waste. Recommend highly!

I loved these when I first got them and they are perfect for fitting 20-10 trays. Only complaint is after about 2 years and around 8 uses, the silicone is falling apart.

I started this years garden in these containers. Very easy to use and store. After the plants got about an inch tall I transferred them to taller containers. The seedlings were easy to pop out without damaging the roots. Clean up and storage easy.

I was looking for a more eco-friendly option than using another plastic seed tray that inevitably ends up cracking and breaking. These were so perfect, and I love that they are reusable, flexible, and easy to pop the seedlings out! They were also easy to clean with a brush & save for next season. They also conveniently fit nicely into the large seed trays.

I really enjoyed using these for my seeds this season. It’s super sturdy and it made planting a breeze! Definitely make sure you have a tray or something underneath for watering because the drainage holes are kind of big and a lot of soil will escape over time.

I bought this after using plastic seed trays from another brand. Getting my seedlings out of the small clear plastic cells was traumatic to both me and the seedlings! No matter how I squished, pushed or squeezed, ultimately I'd have to pull the tender guys out by their stems to free them. Obviously this can lead to snapping then which is so beyond frustrating.I purchased these hoping they would fit the base of the other brand and they do perfectly!! They are MUCH sturdier than the clear plastic ones and the silicone on the bottom can be pushed all the way to top of the tray for easy seedling transplanting. I just planted them but I'm sure this is going to make things much easier! The only drawback is the silicone makes them slightly less stable than the more rigid plastic ones when filling and planting but only slightly - I usually gently tap the base of my seed trays to settle the mix but that doesn't work with these because the bottoms are more elastic than rigid. This can be fixed easily enough by putting in a base and then tapping to settle but I'm lazy so I just filled them up and planted without tapping.Due to the soft bottoms, I do feel these would preform best in a base like the one pictured, rather than a 2010 tray. Supporting the sides of each tray eliminates any potential shifting of the soft bases if you move them. All that to say - BUY THESE!I'm really pleased with their overall sturdiness (they will certainly last many seasons), size and ease of use. They are going to end all my seed tray frustrations (now if they could solve my other garden challenges that would be great...).TLDR: You want these ones!

These seedling starter pots are fantastic. I have been using those ubiquitously available cheap, weak plastic starter pots and trays for years. But these are far superior and will last for years. I use Rapid Rooter starter plugs and they fit perfectly into these pots. Popping seedlings out for up potting or transplanting is super easy. Just apply a little pressure to the silicone bottom and the seedlings almost jump out. Roots don’t cling to them. The combination of silicone bottoms and a more rigid plastic top makes these very durable and easy to clean after use. I haven’t tried yet, but I’m thinking they will clean up real nice in the dishwasher, something never to be tried with typical, cheaper, flimsy plastic alternatives. I got these at a good price, and although I see the price has since slightly increased, I would not hesitate to buy them again.

These feel well made compared to traditional black plastic seed starting. These Silicone Seedling Starter Trays allow easy removal of seedling from the tray without damaging the cell/plug your trying to remove. These trays should last many years. They are some what similar to Burpee’s silicone starter trays.
