I need to probe under some air tight seals as best as I can, and these are excellent for the purpose. They have very thin leads, and they aren't coated in fiberglass. The probes are well matched, though a bit lower in temp than my much larger probes I already have - unfortunately my temp logger does not have a calibration feature that would let me zero the thermocouples together (I can manually adjust with whole degree offsets, which is pretty crude).Overall, I'm happy with this order.

I have 4 of these in use. They are of good quality, they all read very closely the same. The connectors are true T/C connectors where each connector uses the same two materials as the thermocouple wire.

They work and the wires are fine enough to feed around however you may need to route them. Appears to be a clear teflon insulation overwrap with color coding on the individual wires. The junctions are well formed and are stripped back about a quarter of an inch.

Read maybe 1-2 degree higher than the thermocouple I pulled out of my meter, but nothing a calibration with ice water or boiling water won't solve. Nice units great price. Thin wire but sheathed, so routing it shouldn't be an issue. Plugged in and read fine made solid contacts in both my meters. Would buy again

Finally someone on Amazon selling TCs with actual Omega branded connectors! These are made with single-strand sensor wire for both the Al and Ch legs. The junction welds on each of these looked clean, and measured accurately right out of the box. I've been burnt (literally) by poor connections in the past so I took the time to inspect each of the junctions in the connectors. I'm happy to report that each of these appear to have been assembled carefully to minimize exposed wire to limit the risk from cold junctions on twisted cables. I had one loose screw in a plastic cover, but all of the electrical junctions were appropriately snug. I'm quite happy with these.
