This outside grabber is sturdy, practical and easy to use. However, at least for me, it so so long that when I use it, it is too long to put the trash inside a bag. if it could be adjusted in the middle (like keep it long to grasp an item, and then move it down to put the item into a bag, I would love it, but it is a fixed length and too long to be practical for me.

I can now get some things from the top kitchen cabinets from my wheelchair. Can open the, hard to reach, window shades without standing up. Bring in packages that Amazon sometimes leaves at the far edge of the front steps without having someone else get it for me.

This item is a folding grabber device with a rotating head that also has magnets on its side. When you unfold the grabber there is a nice clasp mechanism used to keep the arm solid and straight. The magnets at the side of the head make picking up small metal objects easy. I have a few of these grabbers in the cars and around the outside of the house, but this one is most convenient being compact. There are days when I can't bend down to pick objects up and this grabber is ideal for those occasions. I find the trigger handle to be linked well with the grabbing head. I like that the head can rotate so it makes it easier to pick up various items. I use the grabber and then fold it up and put it back in the closet. Easy as pie. This grabber I use solely for indoor activity. It is really helpful to get items that fall behind cabinets or roll under a dresser for example. I clean it with a disinfectant wipes if I use it to pick up debris or something dirty. It's easy to keep it clean. Overall, it's a very useful tool to have in the house.

This is a pretty nice grabber tool. It has a clamp in the middle so it easily breaks down for storage or transport. It also has a hook and loop strap to keep the two sections secured when it's apart. The grabber end works well and it has a magnet on each end. This is a great tool to have on hand for many different situations.

I have had one of these picking tools hooked to the side of my riding mower for years now. I have kids, and with kids comes items left in the yard. Sometimes its a hot wheel toy, sometimes a hammer. Despite my objections, I never know what may turn up next. Having a reaching tool handy keeps me from having to stop and dismount in order to pick small things up that I missed on the initial walk through. Yes I have to walk my yard off before cutting. So anyway, this is probably my fourth or fifth grabbing tool. I have ruined several in the past by getting them hung up on fences, gates or bushes. I like the fact that this one is a little shorter than the rest. It doesn't stick out as far off the side of my mower and wont snag as easily. I can see older folks keeping this handy in a purse since it can collapse in half. The grip is strong and textured, and is great for grabbing items off the ground like socks and shoes, coke cans or gator-aid bottles, toys, ice cream cups, popsicle trash, hot wheels, hammers, screwdrivers, cups, tennis balls (I really should work on the cleanup habits of my kids). As an aside, I once ran over a trampoline spring that was well hidden under the grass. It unwound and wrapped up around the blades and spindles. Took an hour to cut out from under the mowing deck. This tool won't help much in situations like that where items may be hiding, but I guarantee you'll be able to pick up anything you CAN see with ease.

This extra long grabber is super handy to have around. Love that there are magnets as well. It folds up easily and fits in the organizer next to my grandmother’s chair. She has issues with her wrist and has no problem using this lightweight grabber. I do worry about long term durability with the plastic pieces, but the price is great and I do believe we’ll get plenty of use out of it.

This grabber is a great reaching aid. My mom really likes it for getting things off the floor and I love it for getting those things that are hard to reach that have gone behind the couch or under the bed.This is nice because it folds up for storage although we tend to leave it deployed we use it so frequently. The handle is comfortable and it does not take much pressure to close the grabber part. It can hold relatively large things as well as pieces of paper.The grabber end is covered with a soft layer that lets it grip what you are picking up more securely. This is a great tool for anyone to have around the house.
