Straight Link Coil Chain is an excellent general purpose, low carbon utility chain that is easily identified by its link design. The chain is manufactured to NACM standards. Each link is proof tested two times and the break load is 4 times the Safe Workload (design factor 4:1). Straight Link Coil Chain is recommended for applications that do not require high strength-to-weight ratios. It is typically used for tailgates, barrier guards, swing sets, hanging light fixtures and animal chains. Chain is zinc plated for a bright, attractive finish with moderate corrosion resistance. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Working Load (SWL).

this chain is great for light to general use- chain up a bike or motorcycle, pull out a small tree or bush or tow your mower around the block to get it home. good general use chain for many uses but not heavy enough to tow a car or truck.

Worked great. I attached my lawn mower to a pole to keep it from walking off.It was the right length to allow me to mow my mow away from the edge of my car port and keep it in the dry during rainy weather.

Previous chain broke and in the night me large dog got off its leader and hit by a vehicle. Not going to happen again with this chain. Also putting up a fence better to keep animals in and pests out. Coyotes, raccoons, weasels, etc
