I used this chain to hang a gremlin bell underneath my motorcycle. No gremlins yet! So it works.I cut a link to attach the bell, then TIG welded the link closed again. Worked fine and the heat discoloration cleaned off easily. I'm quite happy with this chain.

Like a lot of other reveiwers I wish I could give less than one star to write a review. The name of the item is a 20 inch safety chain. This is a tiny chain and the one I got was roughly 7 inches in length (just short of 20 cm). While described as capable of supporting 50-60 pounds and intended for towing, pulling, logging, and stump pulling. This is a chain with 5 mm links. It is absolutely useless for anything other than decorative purposes and clearly incorrectly described as to dimensions and suitable use. I will likely request a refund.

Absolutely what I needed for my plant when I had to bring it indoors. Super strong. I got the thickest chain the 4mm n I doubled the chain to make it shorter
