I’d been using this to refill my aquariums after water changes but it broke the 4th time I used it. I plugged it in and it zapped me and made a pop then black smoke started coming out of the outlet. Unplugged it, made sure I wasn’t about to burn my house down, then plugged it in somewhere else and now it won’t work. The return window closed the day before this happened so bummer there but at least no one got electrocuted.

I actually use this for cleaning my beer lines in my kegerator. The size fits perfect for putting it at the bottom of a bucket and just let the little pump cycle the BLC through the lines for 15-30 minutes when it's time to clean. I also use it to rinse the lines as well.

I bought this to pump Evaporust from the ground to about a foot off the ground to a part I needed to continually flood. I ran it constant for a week and didn't fail but not as strong now. I just noticed it says 95 gallons per hour, LOL 95 gallons in a week may be or if your moving water down hill. If you need to move fluid more than a foot UP then you may consider going to a bigger pump, this may pump from one 5 gallon bucket to another If you run the pipe low in the second bucket. I have used it in my tank periodically to move the chemical around. Unit has not failed yet. It is quiet to me, I can hear it running outside at ambient sound levels. This would probably be fine in a tile wet saw. For what it is and how much I paid I am still happy.

I have a 16 gallon Bio-Cube that's set up as a reef tank. The stock configuration has one nozzle for the pump outflow at the top left of the tank. Adding this pump helps add a little extra water movement for my corals. I set it up along the lower third to blow parallel to the back wall to create a little circulation along the bottom and middle of the tank. I used the highest setting and it has worked out perfectly. With a small aquarium you can't go too big or you'll just create a vortex. I did like that this was adjustable in case the flow was too much but it turns out to be just right.Other than the manual adjustment there are no other features for this basic pump. It sticks nicely to my side glass with the included suction cups. When I first set it up I heard a mild buzzing sound but after unplugging it and restarting it the sound has disappeared. Maybe it had some debris but now it is running silent. Hopefully it stays that way.For the low price this is a great addition to a small reef.

Used this is my 20 gallon long to create a constant flow for aquatic plants. It’s been running nonstop for a couple weeks now and still just as strong of a water flow as day 1. The suction cups aren’t very durable so you may have to reattach it a couple times. Pretty easy to clean. Would use it with shrimp or fry since there’s nothing to stop them from getting stuck in there. It’s pretty powerful for small pump.
